Sandman, this is pretty cool.. the head is a bit big, and the facial features are a bit big on the head. I've never done a FHS, so I don't have that experience to base a judgment of it on, but everything seems a bit exaggerated. I think the painting looks good, and the hair sculpt is pretty good, a little thick/chunky, could use a little more detail perhaps on the sides, but the shape is good. The body looks really nice. The arms of the coat look really good, and the pants look good as well. I think that the collared shirt and vest could be a little cleaner and sharper on the edges, and the left part of the collar seems a bit larger than the right one. In the first picture you show the mask, but that's the only time.. was this sculpted? If so, I'd like to have seen some color pics of it.

As for Biohazard. This is really too bad and unnecessary. All I see here is someone who knew that they were going to be beaten, and decided to make a joke out of it instead. It's unfortunate because of how much work Sandman put into this that you would disrespect him like this. Imagine if the tables were turned and somebody did this to you? Or better yet, if someone did this to Gore? We'd all be saying how disrespectful it is. Sorry to say, but it's not funny. And it's stuff like this that keeps this board in the shitter.

First off becca, you have access to conversations that have taken place about this "contest"
You know that when this was thrown at Sandy, I had every intention of screwing around with him. You speak of disrespect, but you know as well as I do, that most everyone (especially you) had gotten fed up with his constant belittling comments. Yeah, we know there were some good customizers before us, but when all the people he is constantly comparing everyone to were around this guy was a 14 year old fanboy. When I was 14 I loved the song "Pretty Fly for a White Guy"
I'll be damned if I'm going to listen to something now and say, "This sucks! It's nothing like The Offspring!!"
Times change and music changes. You either adapt or get left in the past. Sandy turned into the old guy at the concert complaining that (insert flavor of the month band here) has nothing on Nirvana! Those guys kicked ass! You realize that there are actually kids out there that are going to say This popular band is alright, but man, do I miss the Jonas Brothers! They knew how to rock!

I don't need to remind you of your constant complaining about him. I'm sure in whatever hypocritical mind set you have taken you are justified in your position. Whatever that's fine. That picture is exactly what it is supposed to be. A joke. Plain and simple. Did I know if I turned in a real sculpt that I would get beat? Yeah. How did I know that? Well for starters, I had never done a full sculpt. That seems logical to me. Did I intend to mess this thing up on purpose to tick him off? Yes. Why? Because I'm a bigger douchebag than that little twit could ever think of being. Do I care that he can make a better Joker sculpture than me? No, I am trained to save lives, this match is meaningless. I hold no value in your opinion, his opinion, I don't care if you get the Pope to write a Blog about how my paint project is uncalled for. I still don't care. Bottom line, he spent hours of his life to prove something to someone he was better, I spent 45 seconds to show I didn't care he was better. In fact Sandy, send me your address, I will send you a box of cookies. I started doing these competitions for fun. Fun for ME. Guess what? I had fun with this.

I must admit I am not shocked one bit. I said this would happen in the custom discussions thread. You, Gate, and a couple of others tried reassuring me that it wouldn't happen just to try and throw me off but I knew it would turn out like this. You did exactly what I said you would do. So am I shocked? No. Am I pissed that I spent hours making this? Not really considering I finished it in about a week and tweaked a few things. It was something I wanted to make to push myself. You on the other hand proved my point. You are a horrible customizer that knew you were going to get your ass handed to you.


Hell, that picture you doctored is better than anything you have ever shown.

you're right bio, I did have access to those conversations. I was hoping that you'd actually turn in the one you made, and though you might not have won, you could get some feedback for improvement like you used to be interested in getting.

Because I get fed up with Sandy's old school supremacy doesn't make me hypocritical for thinking that you shouldn't have done this. I get fed up with Gate being a jerk, but I don't think that someone should make a match with him and turn in some joke. In fact, if we want to talk about being hypocritical, maybe we should look at the guy who whined and whined about people not bringing their best to his matches and is now applauding Bio not bringing anything at all to this match.

Im of two minds on the subject, a part of me chuckles heartily at a good rib, but i also did encourage him to turn in something real too. But if one good thing can come of it, it stimulated Sandy to get back on the horse and make something cool. So it can't be all bad can it?
