The preview in the TV guide is advertising a battle royal for a shot at the WWE title at Summerslam. MVP has said that he has a "big match at Summerslam" and it is a possibility that he is winning it to face Triple H.
Prowrestling.com has reported this btw.

I'd rather this not happen. I don't want MVP to be buried. If Taker were champion I'd be all for it, but Trips doesn't even make his opponents look good when he crushes them..

Neither does Undertaker...especially the young ones. When they beat him, its either via cheating or distraction and when they beat him clean, he ALWAYS beats them in the second meeting.

Neither does Undertaker...especially the young ones. When they beat him, its either via cheating or distraction and when they beat him clean, he ALWAYS beats them in the second meeting. True Taker's losses always end screwy and in a way where he doesn't have to be pinned, but the match itself is almost always good. Taker has quietly become one of the best in-ring performers in the WWE today. I mean technically speaking...he beat Edge at 3 straight PPVs....shouldn't that have killed all of Edge's momentum? Nope, because all 3 matches were phenomenal. On the flipside, 'H just beat Orton at 3 PPVs in a row, and while you could dispute this due to his injury, I'd be willing to bet Randy would have been lost in midcard heaven afterwards. Really...Triple H doesn't put on terrific matches anymore. I thought his latest match against Cena was very good, but Cena has been putting on good matches with lots of people since his 3rd title reign started. Most of Triple H's matches are glorified squashes. See: defeating Cade AND Murdoch, who were the Tag Champs at the time, in only a few minutes. Defeating Umaga in 6 minutes...Booker in 8 minutes, making Carlito out to be a fool when it was No-DQ for 'Lito. Once again on the flipside, how did say...Cena... do against these guys? He made Umaga look like a total badass during his two matches against him. He made Carlito seem like a real threat in 2005, and allowed Carlito to pin him again last year, when he was champion no less. He also beat C+M in a Handicap Match( with Candice & Umaga involved) but needed help from Jeff Hardy. Speaking of...HHH got help from London & Kendrick after his Handicap match against C+M...only to turn around and Pedigree both of them, destroying any heat they could have gotten from the moment. If the matches are really good, it doesn't matter how one-sided the rivalry is, because the fans will eat it up.Benoit beat MVP at 2 straight PPVs before MVP took the U.S. belt. But the matches were really good, so the fans didn't care and were craving more..same with HBK/Jericho. Before his latest victory, Jericho had never beaten HBK to my knowledge. But people were still very excited because their matches have been excellent. Triple H has truly put over only one wrestler since returning last Summer. And that was Jeff Hardy....who wasted it all away anyway. Besides, 'H ended up getting the last laugh by pinning Hardy at No Way Out. Ok..I feel like I'm rambling now so I'll conclude this: The Undertaker isn't the best at putting over wrestlers, but he's miles ahead of Triple H. And really when you think about it, Undertaker shouldn't be putting over too many people because his whole gimmick is that he's un/in(?)mortal and superhuman. He should be racking up lots of victories...Triple H's gimmick is not that of one where he's superhuman and unbeatable. You don't hear announcers raving about how [insert random heel here] is terrified of Triple H and has the stack decked against him..

Very good points, I really do not see MVP having an excellent match with Triple H anyway . Both styles are different and it will most likely be a repeat of Batista/Kennedy from RR07.

what idiot came up with the idea for khali to be no 1 contender, "Now who shall we have hhh have a match with for the wwe championship" "Maybe M.V.P, mr kennedy or even jeff hardy, what an amazing match that could be" "No, No, No lets have KHALI!"
the only + of this feud is that hhh could impersonate khali with that language he says.

Maybe MVP will fight Hardy for #1 contender spot.
Curently its HHH(Face champ) v. Kahli (heel challanger)
Hardy can't go heel in less than a month, ask Jerhico how long it too to do a full heel turn? Kennedy, Show, Umanga, MVP, Hardy and Kahli are obvi in the world title chase since all were put in a #1 contenders battle royal. Undertaker and Edge are in a long time fued so they're out for possiblt a max of 3 ppvs untill back in World Title picture.
Kennedy - could be a good match just can he pull it off quick enough and wasn't this the title he WAS going to win during the whole Bastard son angle
Big Show - I don't think he came back to be champ, but I'd like to see Show v. You-man-ga. Just two big men going at it to see who the real monster is on SD (till BDV comes back)
Umanga - see above ramble.
MVP - only logical point here unless you want HHH or Hardy heel turn. And even then we got an 8 weeks maxium till next ppv (unforgiven) ill tell ya what put him in a big match situation with Jeff Hardy see who will deliver. Definatly not Jeffery "Substance-Abuse" Hardy But MVP. Its real, its damn real.
Hardy - he had his shot at Royal Rumble, didn't deliver, he was schudled to be in C.M. Punks spot but what happened? Good old Jeff failed a drug test. So he got one more strike and personally no future World Title runs unless its in ECW. Good way to thank your fans, jackass.
