While i applaud your effort NY, The sculpting is chunky as is the paint job. Kudos for trying to do facial sculpting. I'll have to give the nod to KO for a cleaner looking custom. NY you are improving every time out though.

Obviously its 2 different types of figs. While nydreams did more as sculpting, it is chunky and it is kinda strange with the paint job and gloss. KO's steiner is more clean looking, but i can still see the straps on the singlet being a bit wiggly. I don't remember Steiner being in the Attitude Era because he was in WCW at the time, but if you're saying it was the Attitude years or whatever, than i guess that works. I'm going to have to give the nod to: KO nydreams, this is a really good effort you put on. I'm enjoying more and more of your hard work and its starting to show and payoff. Keep it up because you're getting better and better. All you need really is a Custom Hardcore Belt for you fed and use that as your inspiration.

I think KO should be required to show more pics and larger ones... because honestly, how can we judge based on that small pic of just the front?

I think KO should be required to show more pics and larger ones... because honestly, how can we judge based on that small pic of just the front? I agree completely. By using the small photo it - in theory - could slant the voting. I reserve judgement until I see a larger photo, and potentially more views of the figure.

I'm going to give this one to Nydream
Nydream appears to have put in a lot more effort on this one. though overall the presentation isn't as good. The sculpting is a bit chunky in places, and paint is chunky in places, plus the glossy clear coat. But otherwise it's a decent try.
KO's custom is 95% inaccurate. The singlet straps look a little lumpy as well. First off Steiner never had the single black stripe in the goatee for the white singlet. He should have the split black stripes in the goatee. Therefore the goatee on the Steiner scan should have been modified and repainted with correct striping. Although you were able to get the superman S's on thesides. The star is inaccurate. Should say superstar above the star. The star itself should be a two toned grey with a colorized face of steiner in it. No telling what is on the back of the tights. But should say Big Poppa Pump in an airbrushed style from the middle of the back down to the butt. Last of all. Steiner did not have the world title until 2002. He stopped wearing the white singlet in 97 or 98.

NY Dream the Blackman head looks nice good sculpting though a bit chunky in a couple areas. Head looks good, skin tone.
KO your Steiner is okay looks like you used 2 different skin tones the molding on the torso straps is very chunky. Can't really see much else from the pics as they are too small.
I am going with nydream here.

Your vote doesn't count for s*** because you just said who you voted for, no reasoning behind it. I'm going with NYdreams. His clearly shows that he put more effort into it than KO One did. And, as everyone else said, KO One's pic is too small to judge by, and the small pic hides 97% of the inaccuracies so we can't judge them. The fact that he showed the huge pics of NYdream's and such a small pic of his, shows that he was trying to gain bias from the voters due to his small pic and should be grounds for disqualification. But since the end of the voting is today, there would be no sense in it. NYdream gets my vote.

I'm going with NYdream. The sculpting on both is rough. Remember to smooth out what you are sculpting. If you guys are using an air dry compound, I would suggest using sculpey or super sculpey for the time being. Simply because it will allow for an infinate working time. Until you get quick enough to move on to the apoxie or green stuff as those are better compounds in terms of strength over the sculpey. Also remember to blend the clay. Take your finger ( or a blending tool, there are differnt types of sticks you can find at hobby or art shops that can help. For now I would just use my finger) wet it down, and smear the edges until there isn't a noticable drop off where sculpting material ends and plastic begins. It looks like both of you guys are using too much clay as well. You have to be patient and add small amounts since you are using an existing figure. If it was a complete sculpt, where you would be taking a lot off to get the shape you want, it would be different.. However, you are building these up so the process needs to change. If you look at things relative to scale, those singlet straps would end up being four or five inches thick on a real person. Just my opinion on the match. Use it if you want. Forget it if you will. My vote is for nydream.
