FINALLY got my Rogue 2, Astonishing X-Men 4 and Venom vs. Carange 2
Rogue is getting strange but I LOVE it. At first I thought the guy who's her powers don't work on from Rogue #1 but now I think it could be her dad. I think her mother got to the place of enlightenment (sp?) and he followed and his age was reversed. I'm not sure what to think of this other Rogue. I'm sure I'm wrong, its the most logical answer right now but we still don't know half the stuff we need to to know the answer... so it'll probally change next issue like it did from 1 too 2. I really hope this book isn't canned like most of the new titles will be.
I love the art in Venom vs. Carnage. I'm a fan of the darker stuff. Alot of people don't like Toxin's look but I think the mix of Carnage/Venom is a good idea. Alot of people think he will die after this mini but I hope he stays. Seeing as his host is a cop he shouldn't be all bad, so what a perfect change to have a good guy version of Venom without poing alot of people like they did when they tried to make Venom good. Its a perfect chance to make a huge star
I've know about what happens in Astonishing for weeks but it was awesome to see... they handled it perfectly.Seeing that bullet bounce off Col was awesome So glad I subscribed.
I subscribed to X-Men as well as I had a spare £20. So I've now got all 3 core X-Men team books ;D

But are we still keeping the Marvel Legends topic here, or can that go with it? My thinking is, that anyone interested in comic book merchandise, is probably going to be into comics themselves. |

Anyone read Punisher: Confederacy of Dunces? I thought it was a good read, and really showed the depths DD was willing to go to stop Frank. And the surprise with Hulk at the end was great. And I liked seeing Wolvie get steamrolled for once.

I've got the first ASM TPBs and the first 8 USM TPBs, and I can't decide whether to buy AM Vol 4 (Life & Death Of Spiders), ASM Vol 7 (The Book of Ezekiel because after reading most of Coming Home, I want to read more about Ezekiel) or should I get Vol 9 of USM (Ultimate Six)?
Which one has the best story? If I get Ultimate Six or Book of Ezekiel it means finding somewhere to order online, but Life and Death.. I can get in town..hmm

Whether that means revisiting the timeline with new stories or collecting the existing ones he didn't say. |

Can anyone give me a quick run down on AXM issues 1-4? I have a subscription coming and want to know what is happening, unfortunaly I don't have a comic shop near me to get the back issues, I normally just buy Graphic Novels and TPBs. Thanks  |

I got ASM 4, 5 and 6 today They look really good, but I have to try and not to read them all straight away! I've got 6 out of the 7 ASM TPBs now Once I've got ASM #7 and USM #9 and 10 then I'll try and get the rest of the Essential Spider-Man books I havn't got. There are 6 of them right? I have 1, 2 and 5 at the moment. |
