I read Hush recently, and I was spoiler free as well. I loved it, but I wasn't that fond of the ending. I also read Identity crisis recently, and really enjoyed that. This week I picked up the three TPB of Kevin Smith's Green Arrow, the first 5 TPB of JLA, and the second TPB of Superman/Batman. Yeah, I was sorta stumped by the ending as well, so sudden, so grinding to a haltish. But gotham knights took care of that feeling. I must say, identity crisis was one of the best things Ive ever read, I loved the ending so, so much. Anyone reading the For tomorrow Superman Arch right now? or even the Ruin arch in adventures? I love secret Identity villians. |

SPOILERS....... ........ ........ ........ ........ I was blown away. I really had not even an inkling of a feeling that Longshot really did what he was being executed for. The Ultimate Universe is at it's best when it strays away from 616 ideas, and that's definitely true in this case. The Most Dangerous Game did a great job of expanding the roles of Dazller, Angel, Colossus and Nightcrawler, and jumpstarting my interest in semi-stagnant charcaters Iceman, Kitty, Jean and Cyclops. If only they weren't bringing Wolverine and Storm back in the next arc... If there was doubt in anyone's mind that Colossus was gay before this issue, I think the ending pretty much confirms it. |

This might be asking a lot, but I recently got the DC Direct Parallax figure. Now, I know the whole story of how Hal Jordan became Parallax and know some of Zero Hour, but there are a few things I want to know.
1. What were Parallax's powers? He absorbed the battery in OA (thus completely freeing the entity Parallax to take over Hal) and had a buttload of GL power, but what all could he do? Could he open portals? Could he teleport?
2. Recent developments have shed a new light on what Parallax is. It was explained to me that Parallax is an entity that feeds on fear. It has something to do with yellow. Parallax had some fascination with Hal Jordan because of his fearless nature. What am I missing from the overall story?

I did the same, with hush that is. Read Gotham Knights 60, youll smack yourself after reading hush. Im reading the "red hood" storyline right now, caught up on it, I REALLY wanna know who it is, damn it. You find out who he is in the latest issue of Batman. You'll either love it or hate it. I personally like it. |

What do you think of Black Panther? So far its been a crap fest for me... I was going to drop it after #6 but I'll stick on till #7 for the cross over. I feel the same way. I like to give new books at least one arc, becuase if they don't improve by then, they're probably not going to. I had no clue there was a variants for these... whats the cover? The same as the other ones, except parts of them are in B&W. Basically it's just a way to say "2nd Printing" without the stigma of it being a second printing. |

anyone read countdown to infinite crisis yet? I both loved the story and was horribly pissed off by it. I was mostly pissed off because it kind of tainted Formerly Known as the Justice League for me, and I really liked the character that narrated it.  I actually was so impressed, I'm going to start reading DC Comics. I figured 10 years ago I started buying marvel, so it's about time i gave DC a chance. I picked up an early JLA trade today and plan to buy at least 1 DC book a week. I'll defintely be getting Villains United in May and the ID Crisis reprints in April. |

I'm really trying to stay away from DC cause I know I'll find something I like and I'm a real completist. I can't afford more comics.  Good idea doing 80 pages for $1 mind. |
