Wow. This diary is awesome. Boo seeing Warrior leave, but it adds realism I guess. Bringing Muta in would be great, I would love to maybe see some sort of Japan vs. WWF war type thing like WCW did. But yeah Muta/Hogan would be the sex. Also bringing in Luger would be awesome. Give him a heel narcissist gimmick like when he debuted. Oh and pair him with Heenan.

Sucks about Warrior leaving. Maybe you could bring in Hogan to back Savage up. I think it be a nice change of pace to see Hogan as the #2 behind Savage for a change. A Hogan/Luger fued would be good too. Interested to see how you use Arn if you bring him in.

Sucks about what happened to Warrior but it allows something fresh rising to the top of the card. I'm not too sure on Taker turning heel and going after the IC Title, would've prefered something else but I'll deal with it as it should shape up for a good SNME match. The Beverly Brothers are the obvious choice to win and hopefully they do. SNME is shaping up nicely and really like the Razor push giving him a rub with the big names, keep it up.

The thing about bringing Muta in is that in 1992, there was little to no chance of it happening. The WWF had no agreement with New Japan, and New Japan had some fairly strong ties with WCW. Muta in WWF just wouldn't have happened. A fourth TV show would be total overkill. I very much like the idea of the Savage/Warrior vs. Flair/Razor match, that should be a good match. Let's hope it opens the show, for the sake of realism. Hope Davey/Taker get a decent program, but now that I look at it...where did Undertaker turn heel? He was a super (well, almost) face at this point, and Davey as a heel just wouldn't have worked right here.
Those are the only real nagging problems as far as this diary goes. Good stuff otherwise.

He didn't turn heel..

That was my point. He didn't turn heel, yet he's teaming with one of the top heels in the WWF. It makes no sense. Yes, I understand he's challenging for the IC Title, but throwing him with Shawn just because he's challenging for the belt was pointless. That would have never happened unless Taker would have turned heel.

14th September 1992
Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan welcomed us to another edition of Prime Time Wrestling, brought to you by the World Wrestling Federation. They hype matches involving "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, Intercontinental Champion The British Bulldog and more.
The Big Boss Man def. Skinner via Pinfall with the Boss Man Slam (Toledo, OH)
Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan reveal the mysterious 'disappearance' of The Ultimate Warrior. Word has it he hasn't been seen for several days. The suspicious behaviour of The Warrior has resulted in Jack Tunney removing him from the Saturday Night's Main Event match already scheduled. An update will follow later.
We go to Bret "Hitman" Hart. The Hitman claims he is the ideal replacement as "Macho Man" Randy Savage's partner for Saturday Night's Main Event.
Bret "Hitman" Hart def. Tom Stone via Submission with the Sharpshooter (Richmond, VA)
"The Mighty" Yokozuna w/Mr. Fuji def. George Anderson via Pinfall in around 20 seconds with the Bonzai Drop. Post-match, the Sumo Superstar hit the Bonzai Drop a further two times (Wrestling Challenge 13/9/1992)
Monsoon and Heenan discuss Mr. Fuji's newest client Yokozuna. Heenan goes on to hype his own new client, who will be coming to the WWF soon.
The Nasty Boys def. Rock Werner & Jerry Fox via Pinfall with the Trip to Nastyville (Niagara Falls, NY)
Sean Mooney is with World Wrestling Federation Champion "Macho Man" Randy Savage. Mooney asks about Savage's current frame of mind after hearing he needs a new partner for Saturday Night's Main Event. Savage says it doesn't matter who partners him, because he's coming for Ric Flair, oh yeahhh, and "The Bad Guy" yeah, for thinking about attacking him last week. He questions Flair's motives from Prime Time Wrestling last week, claiming Flair was the one who needed to be saved from embarassment when he pinned him for the World Wrestling Federation Title! Savage claims he'll be the one pinning Flair yet again 1..2..3.
The British Bulldog & "The Model" Rick Martel def. "The Heart Break Kid" Shawn Michaels & The Undertaker w/Paul Bearer via Pinfall when The British Bulldog planted Michaels with a Running Powerslam. Post-match, The Undertaker and The British Bulldog engaged in a stare-down (Superstars 12/9/1992)
"President" Jack Tunney is sat at his desk in his office. He looks into the camera and says that he's come to the decision that "Macho Man" Randy Savage will be eligable to choose his own partner for Saturday Night's Main Event to take on Ric Flair and Razor Ramon.
"The Nature Boy" Ric Flair def. The Brooklyn Brawler via Pinfall, using a roll up to score the victory (Syracuse, NY)

Good show. Im interested to see who Heenan's new client is (Luger?) and who Savage picks as a partner. The Undertaker thing still bothers me. Is he a heel or what? I thought that by attacking Bulldog a few shows back he had turned heel.

I've got to nitpick at something. They didn't have ringside commentary at this time, so Michaels would have been in like a split screen interview. The rest of the show was great, though.

[/b] Vince McMahon welcomes us to tonight's in studio edition of Prime Time Wrestling. He introduces our panel tonight - Gorilla Monsoon, Bobby "The Brain" Heenan, Mr.Perfect and "The Mouth of The South" Jimmy Hart. The panel discusses the week's past events, firstly, the goings on between "The Heart Break Kid" Shawn Michaels and "The Model" Rick Martel as they battle for "Sensational" Sherri. Let's take you back to Superstars. [li]"The Model" Rick Martel defeated Tom Stone by Disqualification. "The Heart Break Kid" Shawn Michaels was at ringside at the new commentary booth along with "Sensational" Sherri, but decided to take action when Martel glanced over at Sherri. Michaels attacked him and left the ring with his valet.Gorilla says Michaels actions were disgraceful, but Heenan and Perfect laugh and say it's how you move up in this business. Gorilla says the unprovoked attack on Martel could prove a bad move for Michaels, riling up his opponent, as we saw on Wrestling Challenge. "The Heart Break Kid" Shawn Michaels and "Sensational" Sherri are with Sean Mooney. Michaels says what happened to Martel was necessary. Nobody looks at his woman, including Martel, and if he thinks he's going to take her away at Saturday Night's Main Event, well, try it. Michaels tugs her head back as they head out to the ring.[/li][li]"The Heart Break Kid" Shawn Michaels w/"Sensational" Sherri defeated Virgil via Pinfall with the Tear Drop Suplex. After the match, Rick Martel chased Michaels from the ring. He stared at Sherri, who walked away to Michaels with a glum look on her face. We're back in the studio, where Vince McMahon brings up the WWF Tag Team Championship situation. The panel talk about the various teams currently in the WWF, and which have to be the favourites to take the titles from The Natural Disasters. Gorilla says the brute force of The Legion of Doom will see them through Beau & Blake Beverly at Saturday Night's Main Event and then onto the Champions. Heenan mocks Gorilla, saying that The Beverly Brothers are smarter then that. Plus, they have The Genius! Nobody outsmarts The Genius. McMahon takes to into a match from Wrestling Challenge. [/li][li]The Natural Disasters defeated Kamala & Kim-Chee w/Harvey Whippleman via Pinfall with Earthquake hitting Kim-Chee with the Earthquake Splash; The Natural Disasters retain the WWF Tag Team Championship. After the match, Kamala chased Whippleman to the back as his failed interference cost his team the win. We're back to the panel, where Heenan and Perfect are making fun of Harvey Whippleman. Heenan says he's a guy that just shouldn't manage anyone. Look what he just did. He cost his team the Titles! They joke about who'll take on Kamala & Kim-Chee now. Hart also joins in on the fun. Gorilla silences them, but Heenan starts up again, promoting his new client. He says a 'hero' is coming to the WWF, and he will be the most dominant force in the Federation. A commercial airs for Saturday Night's Main Event, September 26th on FOX. [/li][li]Bret "Hitman" Hart defeated Brian Jewell via Submission with the Sharpshooter We're back in the studio. McMahon talks about Bret Hart, and how he is looking like the future of sports entertainment right now. Heenan and Perfect say he's not, Ric Flair is the past, present and future of sports entertainment, but that's another story. Jimmy Hart jumps in. He says he knows Bret well, and he knows he isn't the future. However, if he's up to it trying to prove his worth, he could always set him up with a match at Saturday Night's Main Event. McMahon asks who, to which Ted DiBiase's music hits. DiBiase & IRS make their way into the studio and join the panel. DiBiases says he'd be happy to put Bret Hart in his place. Meanwhile, Sean Mooney is with WWF Champion "Macho Man" Randy Savage. Mooney questions whether Savage has a partner. He says he's searched high and wide, but he's found a man to be his partner. He says it's gonna be hard to get along with this man, it's gonna be hard to trust him, because you don't trust a guy like this, but trust is gonna be the last thing Ric Flair and Razor Ramon are worrying about.
We go to a pre-taped interview with "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair & Mr.Perfect. Flair says Randy Savage can find whoever, choose who he wants and bring them to Saturday Night's Main Event, because the outcome will still be the same; Ric Flair, the NEW WWF Champion. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!Back in the studio, Flair's managers Bobby Heenan and Mr.Perfect hype him as the next WWF Champion. No matter who Savage chooses, he can't hold onto the Title. McMahon wants to discuss who the panel thinks Savage has chosen as his partner for Saturday Night's Main Event. Heenan and Perfect don't comment, but Gorilla says Savage is a smart man, so he'll have chosen someone from his past, someone he knows well and who can get the job done. Here's an exclusive Prime Time Match. WWF Champion "Macho Man" Randy Savage is in action!
