Just saw this the other night. I was expecting to see a little more of Michael Cera and I wasn't amazing thrilled with the casting choice of Jason Bateman, but Ellen Page and Jennifer Garner did an amazing job. Not only was this movie hilarious but it was also very touching and you felt complete sympathy towards Ellen's character. She is without a doubt going to be the next big thing in acting. I would recommend this movie to anyone and everyone.

Eventually I will get around to seeing this, Hard Candy made me a fan of Ellen Page right off the bat. Anyone happen to catch her on Letterman, with the "transparent slut' story? lol

Went to see it and really enjoyed it. I really enjoy her acting in it, it was a little diff. then her personality in Hard Candy but still had the edgy toned sarcasm that I enjoyed in both. Very sad/happy kind of movie..good stuff

Eventually I will get around to seeing this, Hard Candy made me a fan of Ellen Page right off the bat. Anyone happen to catch her on Letterman, with the "transparent slut' story? lol I enjoyed the part of the story "Sometimes the microwave will just turn on, which is fine, I'm sure its magic to them." Very good movie. Great cast, I think if it lost one person from it, it would have failed. They each had such a great role in it. Allison Janney really needs to be in a lot more movies, she's extremely funny. I don't know how anyone could dislike the casting of Bateman. I loved his character with his love of music and horror movies. I want to see it again, loved it.

I really didn't find it too funny of a movie, just a good movie.
I think I laughed out loud at like, two or three parts.
"She smells like soup, her whole house smells like soup".
But seriously, whoever did the writing for that movie needs to realize that the lingo they use is nothing like any of America uses.
Still one of my favorite movies of the year.

Fantastic movie.
Only, it wasn't necessary for every character in the movie to be so witty with the way they talked.

I want to see this, but I hate Ellen Page and Michael "I'm the same schmuck in every movie and tv show" Cera. I love the rest of the cast though.

hated it. Just because they hit a few really funny moments doesn't make the overall movie very good. It's a movie about a 16 year old immature pregnant chick behaving like a 16 year old immature pregnant idiot.
There's just so much "real world" that they were trying to get at but then totally ignoring other things. Not my cup of tea. Hated Hard Candy too

Really enjoyed this movie. I saw it the other day with my friend and I thought it was very well done. This was the first time that I went to see a movie in the theater in about 6 months. I will probably see it again too.

There were times when this movie was trying too hard to be quotable (the first 20 minutes or so, especially Rainn Wilson's role) but overall it was good. Not worth as much of the hype it gets but still good.
