Pacino. Some of DeNiro's latest movies have not been that good.

I need to see the Godfathers in full. .....WTF?! Please. For your own good. Throw away your package of maxipads, grow a pair, and watch the f*cking Godfather.

Pacino did Scarface, DeNiro did A Bronx Tale (An awesome film I don't care what anyone says.) DeNiro just gets it.

Raging Bull defeats most films Pacino's ever made.

i'd have to say pacino for sure. his godfather role in the first movie is very well done, and he's proved to be somewhat versatile in his roles

I like Al better, but Robert had the better career.

Easy way to break it down: Even though Tom Hanks is the best actor of our generation a truer statement has never been spoken....u sir, are the ing man..... as for the better actor, i have to go with pacino; but it is damn close....

I have to say Pacion. Godfather and Scarface really did it in for me.
DeNiro is one of the greatest, though...it's very close.

Who's had the better career? Pacino.
Who's more awesome? DeNiro.

For me, it starts and ends with Pacino. In terms of iconic roles, they are probably in a dead heat if you look at their careers. But Pacino has only been in about half of the films DeNiro has, so his percentage of greatness is higher in my opinion. DeNiro has made 2 solid dramas (The Score & The Good Shepherd), 2 solid comedies (Analyze This & Meet The Parents), and a whole lot of schlock in the last 10 years. I don't like how he isn't selective at all anymore. Pacino's selectivity gives him that edge in my opinion.

I don't see Pacino as a gay sky pirate or pranking his neighbor with a chainsaw, De Niro wins.

I'm going to go with De Niro, mostly because I have dug more of his movies than Al's.

Pacino was epic in Scarface, but for me DeNiro has had the better career.

Pacino was not in the greatest live action movie of the 1980s (Brazil).
So advantage: Robbie.
