Nick, I am sure people don't like Bale solely on his Batman role. Myself, I like him a lot in the following movies. -Batman Begins -The Prestige -Equilibrium -American Psycho -Rescue Dawn -3:10 to Yuma -Reign of Fire wasn't his best movie, but it was decent. It seems as though you wanna be a rebel and bash anyone who likes TDK, Christian Bale, or basically anything popular. And if someone's favorite actor is Bale just because of Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, so ing what. It's their opinion. Deal with it, and don't post arrogant posts like "1-10 Not Bale". or it seems I have a sense of humor, and don't take these stupid posts seriously in the least bit, because A) they've been posted 500 times already B) by the time the next hit movie is in the works, everyone's actor will have changed C) I don't like Christian BaleThats understandable. But at the same time, you took a shot at every Bale, TDK, and Joker fan, calling them lame, ducks, etc.

Well, Maladroit felt the need to take a shot at me for having a good time on a toy board. And personally, I do feel the majority of Bale's fans only like him because of this upcoming movie, and all of the hype surrounding it. That's my opinion. I'm sure that's not the case for all of his fans, but yeah.

I love Batman Begins, and I am eagerly awaiting the new movie. However, I agree with nick's assessment about why MOST are listing Bale. It doesn't matter though, because it's really not that serious.
Here's my not list
Not Christian Bale Not Jack Nichlson Not Al Pacino Not Pauly Shore Not Freddy Prinze Jr. Not Will Smith Not Jack Palance Not Chevy Chase Not Rob Schneider Not Sean Penn

I'm not a huge a fan of Nolan's direction with the Batman films. I'm more of a fan of Burton's. I've liked Bale in Prestige and 3:10 To Yuma.

For all of you Bale fans, have you taken the time to go back and look at Empire Of The Sun? The guy could act even when he was 13. Great film...

I'll list my favorite actors in my favorite movies or shows that they have played in.
Walken- Pool Hall Junkies and Suicide Kings
Bale- Equilibrium, Batman Begins,American Psycho,The Prestige
Cruise - Vanilla Sky,Rain Man, The Last Samurai
Hanks- Forrest Gump(A masterpiece) and The Terminal, Green Mile,I'll stop there. The Man is good.
Penn-I am Sam
Norton-The Illusionist
Crowe-A Beautiful Mind,Gladiator
Duchovny-Californication, House of D,Kalifornia
Michael C. Hall- Dexter, Six Feet Under
Pitt-Troy,Snatch,Seven,Twelve Monkeys,Kalifornia
Depp- too much to list. The man is the best actor IMO of the past decade or longer. When you watch his movies you see the character he is playing instead of himself. This is an extraordianry gift.

Top three are probably John Cusack, Bill Murray and Denzel Washington... but a week from now that might change. I'm not a fan of these "top" lists myself, because I get into moods... I consider Guns N Roses my favorite band, but if you look at my itunes list, I've been listening to more Journey and Bon Jovi over the past 2 months than GnR... because I have been in different moods.
I think Bale is a good actor... I am actually shocked no one listed Heath Ledger...

Gee, how'd I know that was coming. Man, never a serious reply anymore. Bashing out of boredom in every movie post and locking every music post. I'm sorry for having a sense of humor and not taking message boards seriously? Come on, how many times has this been asked, by you alone? And how many dumb kids are going to reply with "CHRISTIAN BALE!" because of that stupid movie... Wasn't your ALL TIME favorite actor a few months ago Jack Nicholson? So because this stupid Joker movie is coming out it's suddenly Christian Bale? Along with half the site I'm sure. Would you prefer me reply with Christian Bale even though American Psycho was the only movie I enjoyed him in, and the Joker isn't even out yet but a bunch of lame ducks on this site think it's the best thing ever to grace the film industry and photoshop? And if I lock a music post, it's because it outright sucks and has been posted 1000 times, it's a double post, it's a Cobain post, or it's an argument waiting to happen. Find an example... there's probably not many. If there are, then I'll be proven wrong. Which wouldn't suprise me, but oh well. You may think that I have a drive to lock posts and make fun of Joker fanboys, but in all honesty, I only come here anymore when I'm bored to joke around with the few members who share my sense of humor. Very rarely do I find real discussion here, and I don't even expect it, so I don't understand why people get on my case for goofing off when it's a toy board. And if I don't reply seriously to "favorite ____?" posts, it's because I've almost completely stopped taking these list posts seriously, for the record. The opinions expressed in them change so often and they're basically people saying, "hey, look at my top 10-25 list! I'm a pompous showoff who can rattle off a bunch of names!" That's not a shot at you or anyone inparticular, but message boards in general. It's not like I'm not guilty either. If I had to pick a current 10 favorite bands every time a new "Favorite band" post came up, I'd probably have 50 favorite bands in a month. That's why my 5 favorite bands are ashanti, NWA, rick roll, and Dinosnore Jr, and Gayrilla Biscuits for the next however many times I see a list post. I hear you, sorry for coming off as a dick. For the record, Nicholson's the best actor, Bale became my favorite recently but I don't like his Batman.

I think Bale is a good actor... I am actually shocked no one listed Heath Ledger... Yeah, I'd expect that more than Bale. The TDK hype is completely surrounded around Ledger.
