The album one was a good idea...I figured a film one is in need too. I know there a few films coming out still, but hey, it's a message board, and you can always edit your list. I have a feeling Golden Compass might hit my best list. Anyway, here goes.
Best Films: No Country For Old Men 30 Days of Night Grindhouse The Darjeeling Limited Live Free or Die Hard Enchanted 300 Smokin' Aces Reno 911!: Miami Black Snake Moan Meet the Robinsons
In the Middle Films: Pirates 3 (was just ok) Halloween (Had me at the beginning and end, but the middle put me to sleep) Shrek the Third (I laughed, but some of the humor was too stupid for even my godchild) Pathfinder (The first half of the movie had me by the balls...then the rest made me want to hit myself in the balls) Aqua Teen (It was funny, but eh...I was underwhelmed) Sicko (I can afford healthcare, so I didn't really care) Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (It was cool...but everything that was done during the first half of the film was pretty much undone by the end, except for the one death.)
Worst Movies: Transformers Superbad The Simpsons Movie

1. No Country for Old Men 2. Into the Wild 3. American Gangster 4. Gone Baby Gone 5. Zodiac 6. Hot Fuzz 7. The Lookout 8. Superbad 9. Knocked Up 10. Grindhouse 11. Shoot 'em Up 12. Across the Universe 13. The Simpson's Movie 14. Live Free or Die Hard 15. Black Snake Moan 16. 300 17. Reign over Me 18. Alpha Dog 19. Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End 20. Beowulf (in 3D) 21. The Mist 22. The Bourne Ultimatum 23. Disturbia 24. 30 Days of Night 25. 3:10 to Yuma
These are 25 movies that I dug this year, and its on this list I would probably buy it on DVD, so just because its at 25 does not mean I didn't like it. And I might need to alter the list some after December, but as of now thats my top 25.
I also made a list of my 10 worst flicks so far.
1. Epic Movie 2. Hitman 3. Resident Evil 3 4. War 5. Ghost Rider 6. Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer 7. The Number 23 8. Wristcutters: A Love Story 9. Spider-man 3 10. Fracture.
Those last 3 are not truly awful movies, but those were 3 that really disappointed me, I felt some need to put them there.

Yea I'd probably add your worst film list to mine too, except I didn't see any of them...and I probably never will...hopefully.

I wouldn't wish those films upon anyone, not even my mortal enemy.

I also really wanna see Hot Fuzz...I didn't get to see it in theaters and I keep passing on it when I see the DVD. Now I might as well get the HD DVD since I upgraded. Maybe it was worth the wait.

1. Grindhouse 2. Knocked Up 3. Spiderman 3 4. Superbad 5. American Gangster 6. Smokin' Aces 7. Alpha Dog 8. Bug 9. Mr. Brooks 10. Live Free Or Die Hard
And I haven't seen the more critically acclaimed films like No Country and such, so that's why they're not on my list.

I dont think the simpson movie was too bad. One movie i absolutely hated was Gabriel, i almost fell asleep. 30 Days of Night and No Reservations are two of my favourites. Epic movie was tragic though.

I really need to see The Darjeeling Limited, how is that ****? As far as Wes Anderson movies go, it's #2 to Tenenbaums...definitely bumped Life Aquatic down one.

My favorite was Sunshine. It was right up my alley, and might make it into my all-time favorites. Then at the other end, there's Beowulf. I went because my girl wanted to see it, and we both regretted it. I wanted to leave early. But I figured, hey, maybe the cool thing is still to come. Apparently not because the only experience I got out of the movie itself was that of feeling violated.

Going with spiderman3, transformers, pirates 3, simpsons movie, halloween, and knocked up as the best. I thought grindhouse, and 300 were absolute garbage. Not my style I guess.

Grindhouse was terrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrible I'm glad I'm not the only one. If it didn't have "QUINTEN TARANTINO" plastered on it, I think there would be a lot more people who thought it was trash.
