you could have just posted the picture.... No, because I was thinking of people who maybe didn't want to be spoiled. What does it matter, anyway? Is it too hard to click on a link?

The quality of the leaked one is horrible.
Can't wait for the hi-res reveal.

What spoiler? Do you honestly believe there are people out there who aren't going to look at the Joker until the movie comes out?

I'm onto something.. The message is separated into three paragraphs. Letters from each paragraph are stained in blood. 1st Line - E I T M 2nd Line - O R F 3rd Line - F F T A Y TIME FOR TAFFY I tried whysoserious.com/timefortaffy, but nothin'. And I took the letters from each line, added up their corresponding numbers to the alphabet, and got 47-39-58, but the safe didn't open. But still, it's unscrambled to be TIME FOR TAFFY.

The way they are marketing this film almost makes me wish the villain was The Riddler. I can't imagine what kind of online campaign they could have if he was the villain.

Set your computer clock to 7:38 am and the safe should open!

The contents look like that of a bus driver. www.gothamUSD.com/ is a new site. There's a neat little theory by a poster at Superherohype. It makes sense. Don't read on if you don't want to know stuff.. If you followed the filming from this spring, you'd know that school buses were used for the bank scene they were filming. Presumably it's the scene where The Joker is created, or at least shown for the first time. So it's been rumoured that that's the footage being shown before I Am Legend. The theory is, what if all of these puzzles is us "helping" The Joker set up this bank robbery? We've already "released" the contents of the safe and given him the keys and ID badge of a bus driver. What if the last puzzle takes us to the release date of I Am Legend and the 5-7 minute footage is the school bus/bank robbery scene? If that's how this unfolds, then me.. it's brilliant.

You should have seen the hype earlier when the new site first went up, you couldn't even get on there it ran so ing slow. that is one hell of a theory and it makes sense. we saw the picture of a bus going through the bank, the joker in the bank, and the joker being filmed at a safe using an imax camera. PLUS all that stuff was shot before any real shooting happened. something like a month to 3 months prior...it would make sense that it was the prologue before I am Legend...

I have another theory about the Joker. Nothing too brilliant, but..
Remember that first pic of Joker being filmed by the IMAX camera behind the blurred pane of glass? He's so white and his hair is so bushy and green. So chances are, it's when the Joker is first introduced, fresh in his make-up. Yet in other photos, the green is fading, his skin tone is starting to be more visible and his lipstick is smudged. He probably doesn't re-apply his make-up throughout the entire film, so by the end, he must be a sloppy, smeared mess.
I've love the last shot of the movie to be Joker sitting in an Arkham cell with barely any green in his hair, lipstick smudged, and smeared white blotches over his face. Then by the third movie after, possibly, escaping, he'd pretty himself up again and have the white make-up, lipstick, and green hair once again.
I dunno. I'm just shootin' crapout of my ass.

The intersection where the school buses are picking kids up from the Narrows is also the location of a Gotham Bank.

Um, but wouldn't him having to put make-up defeat the whole purpose of him being the Joker? No. You weren't expecting an acid bath, were you? It's an interpretation of The Joker. He has no true origin. In this version, he obviously applies make-up. You can his skin around his neck and his hands. It looks like he applies the make-up, which makes him that much more ed. He's a homicidal nut case and he chooses to dress up like a clown. It's wicked. Why do most people want him to fall into acid? It's been done, and it's not The Joker's definitive origin. He doesn't even have one. So they're going a different route. Let's hope there's no origin at all in this movie.

It's not that they want him to take an acid bath, they just want him permawhite...I think this is the most heated thing since the organic webshooters. Seriously, if he looks and acts like the Joker...then what do people have a problem with?
Oh, and most people think that the story told in "The Killing Joke" is the Joker's definitive origin...whatever.

Um, but wouldn't him having to put make-up defeat the whole purpose of him being the Joker? Definitely not. It's Nolan's vision of what the Joker will be like, not Alan Moore or Tum Burton's. And as Trypod said so beautifully, it's the thought that someone is so ing loopy that they'd dress up as a clown and terrorize a city that's so wicked.
