It was a B-side to the Zephyr Song, imo its a really strong track and better then quite a few of the songs on By the Way.

I agree. They only cut it because it was similar in parts to This Is The Place, but nevertheless the fact they included Warm Tape over it is obscene.

Minor Thing is a really underrated track from the album, and everyone I know who likes the By The Way album doesn't rate Universally Speaking very highly but it's always been one of my favourites.

Another track which wasn't on the album but rules is Slowly Deeply. It was probably because it doesn't really fit the musical style of the other tracks and it's an instrumental, but it's really good. Ironically it's the heaviest track recorded during those sessions and its name makes it sound like another ballad.
