Yesterday on writer/director Kevin Smith's blog, he officially confirmed reports that Seth Rogen (40 Year Old Virgin, Knocked Up, Superbad) and Elizabeth Banks (40 Year Old Virgin, Invincible, Scrubs) have signed on to play the titular characters in his new film "Zack and Miri Make A Porno."
"Zack and Miri" is due to begin filming in January.

I read that Rosario Dawson was supposed to be Miri, but dropped out. Sad, would have liked to see her in this.

I heard. Mewes is officially (duh) in it as well. I don't know what to make of this, it's the first Kevin Smith project I'm not looking forward to.

When did Elizabeth Banks become the It Girl? Seems like only yesterday, I saw her debut at the end of Scrubs Season 5, and now all of a sudden, she's got more projects than Samuel L. Mother  in' Jackson. |

I didn't know Anderson was in it at all. That's certainly good news.
And Shock, looking on Banks' IMDB page, you seem to be right, including this she's in 6 upcoming movies.

No. Because his Scrubs talk is borderline nutso sometimes, and obviously he missed Wet Hot American Summer, so my comment was pretty much in awe that he or anyone has never mentioned that fantastic piece of work. |

I was the same way with Colin Farrell...I remember him being mentioned in a review for Hart's War, but it wasn't until I saw him in Daredevil that I noticed "holy shit, this guy's in ing EVERYTHING." |
