Im probably gonna catch hell for this. I am a huge Star Wars fan, have been since I saw the films as a very, very young kid. I have seen them all a million and one times, and my favorite is actually Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.

I hate all the Star Wars films. Well we hate soccer so go away. 1. Empire 2. Jedi 3. Revenge of the Sith 4. Star Wars 5. Attack of the Clones 6. Phantom Menace Phantom Menace is the only movie I've watched less than 3 times. That movie is just plain painful. |

I've only seen Sith in full, and I didn't know what the hell was going on. I just have no interest in the series, but they're truly a cinematic achievement.

"Empire" had the better ending. I mean, Luke gets his hand cut off, finds out Vader's his father, Han gets frozen and taken away by Boba Fett. It ends on such a down note. I mean, that's what life is, a series of down endings. All "Jedi" had was a bunch of Muppets.

I seriously don't know why all of you are hating on Episode 1.

I voted Jedi, because after the tragedy of Empire, it proved that not all hope was lost. the redemption and final triumph of the rebellion was beautiful... And on top of that it had the Jabba barge scene.
Empire was also great, I especially loved Cloud City and Hoth... Overall, I just don't like it as much... And I think A New Hope is about equal with Empire...
as the prequals go... The go from best to worst in order of release... Menace had boring moments, but was still a very good movie... Attack was cool, but not great, and they just dropped the ball with Revenge, since it should have been amazing. But the duels were mostly bad, the plot was not up to par, and the acting was bad, even from people who are great actors...
If you want to see good movies taking place during the time of the prequels... watch The Clone Wars cartoon... Absolutely amazing... And Grievous is the man!

My god, I can only imagine how epic 3 new Star Wars movies would be, if they were based around Star Wars canon. Like the Mandalorian Wars. Lucas needs to make them, asap.

If you could only watch one Star Wars film it would have to be a New Hope.
I love Empire, but it ends on too much of a cliffhanger.
