every woman i know thinks Cruise is a pedestrial-looking at best, so its certainly not sex appeal that keeps his career going... i think he simply established a great repore with high-up directors like Steven Spielberg, and that has kept him going. that, and making career choices that he knew would translate to box office success. i mean, i enjoyed Spielberg's "War of the Worlds" because ive read the novel and i'm a sucker for borderline-POV mass genocide... but come on, was that movie really good enough to warrant the 7 billion dollars it made at the box office? of course not, but it did, and Cruise and his career reap the benefits as for Brian Singer, he's a super "meh"... with the story and Spacey, it would've been incredibly hard for Suspect to not be amazing. X-Men was all over the place and resulted in a pretty flat movie. X2 is the comic genre benchmark according to most, but to me it was a dragged-out snoozer that tried to be a character piece and was only saved by Brian Cox and Superman Returns? ho. lee. sh it. i'm not even a Superman fan. but people waited like 25 years to see the man of steel back on screen in the glorious technology that this era provides... and we got damn near 3 hours of Brandon Routh hugging Mama Kent, hovering in random areas, and eves dropping on Kate Bosworth. awful ing movie

No love for Minority Report? That's probably my favorite Cruise movie. As for this film, it doesn't really interest me.

Meh, considering the source material and the director, that movie was mediocre at best. I thought it was great. That's why we all have opinions. Like, in my opinion, I think Sweeney Todd is going to be crap. You obviously don't.

Did I? I merely stated mine. I was pointing out the fact that we have different opinions. No defense. I don't personally care what you like and don't like. You brought up that we had different opinions, and I pointed to a fact to support that statement.

Who criticized his beliefs in the first place? I was criticizing his shitty acting and overall unappeal.

I didn't mean to force my opinions on you. But let's leave it at that.

Actually, I understood you perfectly. I never thought twice about anything you said. I said I thought it was mediocre. You liked it a lot. I said that's the difference of opinions. You thought I was taking offense. I explained that I didn't.

Who criticized his beliefs in the first place? I was criticizing his ****ty acting and overall unappeal. And his smelly feet and oddly named child. Oh wait, that was me just now.
