wow. not sure if i'm saying wow based on the fact that i'm honestly surprised there is such a movie, much less with asian pornstars and nothing but english subs, or the fact that i'm downloading it as i type this.

I liked Lost Boys The Tribe, had a decent amount of gore, all I expected. Gotta see the new one.

I haven't been too interested in horror figures since mezco released with Wolfman remake, but I had some times so decided to go into Toys R Us where I found the new Diamond Universal monster toys and boy was I impressed. I've picked up the Wolf Man so far, it's great. I'm planning on getting the Mummy next, then picking up the deluxe version of the Creature. Can't wait until they get around to releasing Frankenstein's Monster.
My Universal Monsters shelf is coming together.

I liked Lost Boys The Tribe, had a decent amount of gore, all I expected. Gotta see the new one. oh yeah, The Tribe had tons of gore but i didn't care much for anything that happened in the movie other than the Corey Feldman cameo we got. which brings me to The Lost Boys 3: The Thirst. ING fantastic. it seemed a little rushed, but an hour and twenty minutes of nothing but Feldman is ing classic. the film is somewhat predictable with a little swerve (in that when it appears the film has come to the climax and resolution we get faked out only to have the real climax start to unfold) but a VERY FUN movie, and great continuance to the original film. i can only imagine what could have been done with a little more time actually put into the history of the characters/"alpha vampire" and the whole story itself, but honestly, way more than i expected. must see for anyone who loved The Lost Boys, as long as you don't expect much other than total FROGINATION edit: oh, and a nice heavy dose of tits and nudity. can't ask for much more in a good horror film. hahah.

I also just finished Lost Boys 3. LOVED IT. Obviously, compared to the Tribe anything would be great. But even on it's own I think this is a really fun movie. The Frog Brothers are classic characters and now they finally get their "own" movie.. And they don't disappoint. The flashbacks to the original were also very cool.
Anybody who enjoyed the first should definitely watch the Thirst. It's great.

So the original Night of the Demons is certainly one of my top all time favorite "Halloween" movies.
I'm currently about halfway through the remake and I have to say it's actually decent.
I really thought it was going to be bad, but so far so good.
But man, what happened to Eddie Furlong. The guy is just awkward to look at in the movie, he just looks so unhealthy haha.

I'm afraid the three most attractive women in the film, Shepis, Keenan, and Elizabeth, stay clothed. There are a lot of big fake boobs throughout the film though. I kind of spoke too soon when I made that post. Once the craphit the fan it's kind of dismal. I'm torn, it had a really good lead up, but then it sort of just goes down hill. I will say that Shannon Elizabeth did a great job, the winks at fans of the original are definitely there so that was fun, oh, and the house used in the film looks great. When you're done watching it I think you're more impressed with the party scenes (maybe because you wish someone would throw a Halloween party like that haha) then you are anything else. My opinion of coarse.

The Descent Part 2 was god awful. Not sure how anyone could have liked it. They took out ALL of the emotion from the first one and then tried to copy everything but it turned our horrible! Glad it was only a rental. My roommate saw it like two years ago at a preview screening and hated it, and he rarely hates movies like me, but he said it was awful. Then Blockbuster customers loved it. Go figure. Still want to watch it one day. So the original Night of the Demons is certainly one of my top all time favorite "Halloween" movies. Literally, the guy is constantly on something. Like the reviewer from Chud said, way to coast on that T2 fame, Eddie. I'm going to watch Night of the Demons soon, heard good things about the fun factor, Tiffany said it was a blast to work on, disappointing to hear they all stay clothed.

30 Days of Night Dark Days was pretty ing bad, the ending was totally intellectually- disabled. kicking off the 14th with not just one of the best zombie films of the 80's, but the Monster Vision version of it. That's right. Joe Bob Briggs hosting Return of the Living Dead. October is almost halfway over so I figure it's time to start pulling out the zombie movies.

Me too, I was hoping to watch 100, but so far I've only managed to fit in 23 movies.
