Eh, not really much left to look for.. I do have a friend who went to a few big parties at the cabin several years ago, before they tore it down. I remember Bruce saying in his book it burned down in the late 80's and then from there just got broken to the point where fans started going and taking rocks and wood from the cabin, so supposedly now there's just a spot where it once was. According to Bruce at least, don't know anyone that's gone out there. All 3 Xtro movies rule. Been on an alien horror kick lately, have Mutant, Galaxy of Terror, Inseminoid, The Deadly Spawn, Strange Invaders, Alien Predators, Night of the Comet, so much cool stuff in that genre. As for the Fangoria movies, I only watched two, the only two I had heard of before. They are: Pig Hunt - The best of the series, highly recommended. It's like Deliverance meets Wrong Turn meets a 70's Corman movie. Very fun, very exciting, and pretty f'n brutal. Highly recommended. Grimm Love - Based on a true story, this is a pretty cool movie, if you can handle it. It's about a guy that wants to be eaten, and the man who find him that wants to eat someone. Disturbing, but awesome. After that, I've heard they're all crap, especially Fragile with Calista Flockhart (dunno how to spell her name), heard that one is awful. The only other one that looked remotely interesting to me was Dark House, and I have like 5 people in a row tell me they thought it was terrible. Fright-Rags had a pretty cool limited shirt about a year or so ago, it was based on the ladies of the Evil Dead and came with a vial of dirt from the original cabin, currently one of my favorite collectibles I own. All that's really left is the chimney and the hole where the basement part they built was. Have you seen the film Cannibal? It was based on the same case Grimm Love was. It's a pretty gross movie haha. Edit: Woo hoo, 1000 pages!

No, I have Cannibal though, gotta watch it. After watching Grimm Love I watched the docu "The Man Who Ate His Lover", very interesting stuff, movie was very faithful.
Yeah I remember when they had that shirt. Reminds me of S. William Hinzman selling "OFFICIAL NOTLD DIRT!". Like $10 each too. My friend still has the vial I'm pretty sure.
We made it to 1,000, I find it funny that most of the people who started it are still posting here (don't think Johnny posts much anymore, gotta tell him it hit 1,000)

It's always a good watch. watched Halloween again as well about 2 weeks ago, except this time on my buddies 50inch. was quite the experience. thinking i'm gonna watch Dog Soldiers tonight, or possibly The Hole... or both. depends on how long i can keep my eyelids open after getting no sleep last night and having to work this morning.

Wow, I was here when Durden started this thread and the first page had a review of Castle Freak. Can't believe we've stuck around for this long. Most of us aren't here as much anymore, but we still keep it alive.
No plans to watch anything tonight, although MuchMusic is showing The Lost Boys: The Tribe.

Woo hoo 1000 pages. I think I may end the night with some Tales From the Crypt. I own seasons 1-4 and my friend burned me the rest. I may pop in a random disc and just fall asleep to it...just like I used to when it was on HBO when I was a child.

1000 pages! That's awesome In honest truth, the horror thread is the only reason I visit WF Forums Its pretty much the only reason I stay on WF. I mean I do view video games and general lounge, but its the horror thread that makes it special! Its so awesome to be apart of page 1000. I can try and get Durden(Johnny) to give us a post. Sean! Get Brad(KJV) to stop by!!!! I just watched Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning tonight. God I still love the movie! Its one of my favorite prequel/remake movies. Think I might give Dark Country a watch or maybe Time Crimes. Havent seen either of them.

I got my Halloween planned out already. The Halloween weekend I'm watching every single Halloween Movie Except 3(It wasn't that good IMO.) Then just helping a neighbor with a Haunted House which I'll be participating as Michael Myers.
Wooo! 1200 post!

Anywho, sucks to hear about Dark Country, rented it a few times now without watching it. Gotta watch something good tonight, Night of the Demons, maybe? My friends were watching it last week, with the remake coming out, I want to watch it again.

I watched Lucker The Necrophagious last night with my lady friend. We were both disappointed haha.
I guess I'm in the minority that likes Halloween 3 more than most of the sequels.

I'm with you when it comes to Halloween 3. It's actually my favorite of the sequels. I really wish they would have kept going with the anthology route, because all of the Michael Myers sequels except for Part 2 were pretty dull IMO. As for the Evil Dead cabin, yeah I wasn't sure if it was torn down or burned down, I just know there's nothing left except for the chimney and a hole in the ground that used to be the cellar. My friend Kevin went to some parties there a long time ago. He didn't really have any interesting stories about it though.
