Greatest gaming memory. My favorite memory is the year I got my Nintendo 64 for Christmas. I had no idea I was getting it. It was one of those shoot for the stars Christmas lists. I put down a N64, along with some games like Golden Eye 007, WCW vs. NWO World Tour, Super Mario 64, and Turok. I ended up getting it all. I couldn't believe it! With every package I opened I grew more and more excited, I never would have expected a Nintendo 64, but all those games as well? Great Christmas. I spent the entire day until the early morning hours playing. Just thinking about it I can sort of capture those old feelings I had... Kind of depressing in the end.

Isn't this number 4? The N64 Christmas was a GREAT Christmas, especially since Mario 64 owned my soul. I also got a 32x that Christmas But the Christmas, which was probably might have been '89 or '90 and I got a Gameboy. I don't know why, but the Gameboy Christmas was my happiest Christmas ever. It was a HUGE day for me. EDIT: You know what, it may have been '92, because I think I got Creepy Crawlers and Super Mario Land the same year, and Mario Land was Brand New when I got it.

I remember being excited getting a NES for christmas. My dad got it for me and my bro. The hours spent playing Duck Hunt two inches from the TV, priceless.

Christmas of 1998, I received Ocarina of Time and I was never the same after that. The day I got WWF No Mercy is a close second.

Beating Halo for the first time, playing Banjo-Kazooie for the first time and getting Nintendo 64 for Christmas. I also quite liked getting my gurbby hands on Banjo-Tooie, and Halo 3 in stores after I had waited forever for them.

Probably camping out for my 360. Sure it was cold, but the various drunks made up for it. I had one guy in front of me in line mixing Absolut and Sprite and having a nice conversation with me about previous system launches. Then there were like 5 college students in the back of the line who knew they were getting a Core system at best (they ended up getting nothing) that would randomly bird-call a "Cah-Core!" which became "Corn!" as they joked about how it was so bad they just gave you the system and a can of creamed corn.

Probably when I got my first gameboy, I don't really remember anything other than being incredibly excited.

Getting an N64 for Christmas. We bought a Sega CD system, and returned it the next day and I dont know how, but we traded it in and got an N64. I remember being so happy to get Super Mario 64.
Also, my other favorite moment was I remember on my Birthday, I was going to be getting Super Smash Brothers, No Mercy 64, and Mario Tennis, but I had to go to school first, I remember being sooo anxious. I was honestly like writing out what matches I was gonna do for No Mercy and stuff, I dont remember ever being that excited.

I had a 64 for the holidays, played SM64, pretty awesome. Those were the days. Also, I had MK2 for SNES with Super Mario World, and the system. I was shocked, and still works today.

I had a great Christmas around 2000 when i got a PS2, I had done really well at School and didn't ask for much throughout the year, so my Parents asked what I wanted and I asked for a PS2 ( This was when they were $750 ) and my Parents were fine with it, I also asked for a game ( Which was Tekken Tag Tournament ) which i got aswell, I was probably the Only kid around the area with a PS2, and when I found out it could play PS1 games i ditched my PS1 and got $100 for it, Which i went to buy more PS1 games.

Mine are probably either:
1. Playing through entire seasons of Tecmo Super Bowl with friends over an entire weekend 2. Playing Final Fantasy II the first time 3. Any multi-player sessions of Halo, WCW vs The World, or Goldeneye

The year I got a Dreamcast for Christmas. I think I played Sonic Adventure for a month straight, and after that Power Stone kept me occupied for an eternity.

Yep, mine would also be the first time I played N64. I was just so shocked and amazed at the advancement of the graphics, gameplay, etc.
I haven't been as impressed with any system to come since.

I got a Dreamcast with Sonic Adventure, NBA Showtime on NBC, and that jet boat racing game, the name escapes me, but it was fun as hell.

Along time ago I had a NES and I was playing this game, some sort of boxing game, I remember finding it really hard and playing it loads trying to beat everyone, when I got to the last person I must have lost to him about 50 times so when I beat him it was the most satisfying moment in a game I remember. I find games relatively easy now so beating a game isn't so satisfying.
