I had this problem once before too. Unplug the AV wires and the hard drive from your 360, stand it up vertically, wrap a towel around it and, then turn it on and let it run for 20 minutes. I'm not sure if this is 100% percent guaranteed to work, but I did this to my 360 when it broke over a year ago and I haven't had one problem with it since. Did it and the red rings went off but the disc wont read, the cd does though

His 360 is now play CDs, DVDs and games.
