If your hiding spot is so good that you can return weeks later to still find figures there, you're an ass. If you didn't want it badly enough to rush back once you got enough money, you shouldn't have hidden it. That just ruins it for people who actually want it.

I always have enough money or I use my credit card. So I have no need to hide figures but I have found hidden figures. I always look because every once in while I find something good hidden. If I already have or don't want the figure, I just put it back with the other figures.

Hiding figures is fine as long as you don't grab big stacks of them to do it. When I do so it's because they only have one of the figure left and I'm short on cash. I occasionally also do it so that little kids can't buy figures I'm after, or that I think they don't deserve (mostly CS, because it says collector series at the top and that is that). I know that sounds a bit harsh but imagine a shop that has unsold CS1 in the back, and they have one HBK and some little kid buys him, takes him home, rips open the packaging, draws on him with permanent marker and breaks the arms off. It's a nightmarish prospect. Any reasonable person would hide that figure so that when they have the money they can fetch $200 for it MOC on eBay. I don't condone scalping but if I were to encounter that situation I would do this. I remember the day I found my CS10 Sabu. Some idiot had attempted to hide him right at the back of the RA18.5 peg. I mean if you are going to hide a figure don't make it stand out like a sore thumb! It was the only one there, so I did my usual trick of ripping the top of the box to get it off the back of the peg. I still knocked over a few figures because the peg was packed tight, but I got my Sabu. Hiding figures used to be a lot easier when Pump And Flexes were about, as they are big but nobody wants them so they cover a lot of shelf space in both ways! ;D When I found CS6 Hawk after searching for a considerable time. I did my best ever hiding of a figure. This shop stored the figures on shelves instead of pegs, and so on the bottom shelf underneath the rapidly dwindling CS6 figures lay The Unholy Mountain Of Pump and Flexes tm. I buried Hawk, face down and backwards against the back of the shelf, under the stack of pump and flexes. This was the bottom shelf and nobody bothered to look there as it's quite close to the ground and scalpers would doubtless break their backs doing it. Came back the next day, he was exactly where I left him. Bought him and that was that. Next story, I did the same thing with RA14 Undertaker except that in addition to pump and flexes there were CS5 Volkoffs and Sheiks (Which are still here by the way!). Although this was on the middle shelf nobody noticed it anyway, bought it the next day. Those Volkoffs and Sheiks came in handy for hiding my Bam Bam, Shamrock and Rick Steiner figures I got recently. ;D

Anybody do this? Today, I was putting something in the letter box, it was right beside my local Toymaster so I doddled in to find DA8 Helms, Morrison and Sandman. I pull back Helms to reveal... PUNK! Now I didn't have any money so I puck it up, and put it in the Spiderman section. There were also MITB and HITC, that was it. So my question is, did you hide any figures? There is no DA8 John Morrison figure, I think you mean Johnny Nitro... Shut up smart ass. And no. I don't hide figures. Either I go to the store, knowing what I want and have money, or I don't go to the damn store.

Dude I do this all the time! Every time I go the store I hide all the cool/rare/Hard to find Figures so little kids dont get them and destroy them Because thats what my neighboors do. My hiding place is usually in a very high unexpected place acoure usuallt in the well at target I hide them in the hot wheel section just shove it back there and put about 15-20 big hot wheels things in front of it. Wal-Mart i hide them in the food part in the freezer where the ice cream is no one ver looks there I had to hide a Umaga there Thank god I came back one day later for it because they restock Ice cream pretty fast And they would find it there. Toys R Us way on top of the top shelf where they keep the extras I just shove it way back there I have had A Classic Series LJN The Rock up there for almost a month Now! EVery time I go there its still up there! I will buy it prob the next Time I go. KB toys I hide it in the like game board behind like monoploy and stuff I stick it way back there and but like every thing surrounding it. Walgreens In the home appliance section just shove it some where I have a Balls and Mike knox and RA Lashley there for 1 month and 1 week awsoem spot. I hide figs ALOT!

yeah i do it, but i hide it in tha barbie section. no other collector looks their!!!! untill now!!! i would NOT want to be seen in there, even if it was hiding a figure. also to the people who hide things on top where they keep the extras, how do you see up there? i mean, it's pretty high.
