So I just went to TRU here in Waterford and they just finished remodeling the store. Anyways if you guys are lookin for new stuff and can't find it in RI I'd suggest to go there if it's not to far. They had MASSIVE amounts of the new Trios series. The had all of CS15 including the HBK variant, Rock LJN, Johnny Rodz etc. I saw both Ariel and Kelly Kelly from ECW 2 sitting there and the new belt sets with Helms & Hardy. Also had a bunch of DA 9 as well. The only thing I saw them short stocked on was the new AD sets they only had 2 and both were hass/benjamin sets.

I went to TRU and super Walmart today too. Funny you did the same thing. I picked up a Balls Mahoney fig at TRU. Great detail by the way. He even had the Chris Candido No Gimmicks Needed tat on his forearm.

I sometimes visit that store when I'm in the area for work (I like the Crystal Mall there too). It's kind of a drive since I live in upstate RI, but I had no idea that they were remodeling that store. I gotta check it out sometime. Hopefully, they'll have a CS 15 Luger & Razor next time I go (they are the only 2 I want in that set)....

Yeah that's funny that was me with the Sandman shirt. I must have walked right by you. I've met Sizzlinking before at TRU. We probably all see each other at the stores and never even know it. Don't know if you guys know it but Wrest SS has a huge $5 book sale. I've bought about 15 ones in the last 2 weeks. I'm stocked for months.

Thats pretty funny dogink...I always wonder whenever I hit TRU (especially in Warwick) if it's any of you guys checking out the wrestling figs as well. It's too bad you and ILM walked by each other. On another note, I seriously have to stop by the spam...all this time I still haven't stopped in. I really want to check out their replica belts as I only want to buy one for display but I'm trying to figure out what "one" I should be gunning for. Any suggestions...

My favorite is the old school IC title. I have 12 replicas and that was the last one I got other than the World Heavyweight title that I won at an indy show raffle. Don't buy their display cases though. They are like $100+. I bought and assembled a glass case that holds 5 from IKEA for $60.

It's funny you mention the old school IC title because that was my favorite title when I was a kid. The thing that worried me with that was that the etching didn't look great on the one I saw a few years back when Sports Treasures used to display those in the front of their shop at the Emerald Square Mall. One things for sure, I would never buy their display cases. I've got alot of room to add a belt after making another pitstop at Ikea awhile my company had me out on the road in Connecticut. I'm up to my 4th Detolf glass cabinet and always wanted to add a replica belt to my growing collection...

I love the White winged eagle belt, if I ever decide to get a replica belt that would be it.

I also love the NWA belt. I thought it was kinda ugly as a kid but it really grew on me.
By the way, i'm in the process of developing a new wrestling show for public access. It's going to be like the old Talking Wrestling show if any of you guys remember that. We should be filming the "pilot episode" within the next week. Hopefully this thing takes off. I may even add a figures segment where we talk about and show some of the new products.

I went to Walmart in Warwick today. Nothing really. Did anyone else go? I saw someone wearing a Cena shirt in there. I usually wear a wrestling shirt when I go fig hunting. Maybe it will spark conversation w/ someone, lol. Maybe from WF.

We're just going over some details now but I really want to launch this thing soon. If anybody wants to contact me my regular email is exeter78@aol

Yeah we have a lot of good people that post here. A lot better than some of the other subjects. They have TNA and WWE shirts for $18 at Woodstock Fair. Most of the WWE shirts look kind of kid-ish like the ones at Walmart. They also had Christian, Joe, Steiner and Sting. They're in a yellow and white biker style tent. It's still open tomorrow if anyone goes.
