I'm just here to say ,I wish there was a Fire Pro online. Like new Fire Pro. I couldn't Imagine anything funner than playing Fire Pro online. It would be amazin g. Thbe sad thing is as far as I know ,there's really nothing to do about it. You would think with the PS2 releases , we would have gotten some kind online mode. Like if I could play with my CAW and play tag matches and battle royals with other CAWs there would be no reason to leave the home.

Does anyone know of a way to mod FPR without getting an Action Replay type device? I'm very cheap at the moment but want to add people.

there is no way to add saves without Action Replay/Codebreaker/Gameshark etc. or a usb flash drive unless you have a backwards compatible PS3 and a SD Memory card or usb flash drive

i love fpw so much. easily the best wrestling games series. shame so many people don't know about it. i remember first playing it,thought it was rubbish, i didn't know what to do , soon turned into my favourite game of all time. have 2 fpw on gba just incase i lose one. (well they were so cheap anyway)

I definitely like Firepro better than the SVR series I prefer FPW2 for GBA over SVR 2009. the only thing I don't like about Firepro games are the fact that both right and left sides of the wrestler are identical so making Zack Ryder's new attire is impossible but the gameplay makes up for it big time

I used to be apart of that community. Those guys were really good at animating whatever came to their mind. It's really time consuming to do that too, but it can be a lot of fun. Unfortunately, that community has been dead for a couple of years now.

You can play the SNES Fire Pro online with an emulator, I think.

Dead but great to look back there werent that many members which makes this vid seem sad to me, just as it was an elite little net community which had fun with a great game

I just got FP Returns for PS2 from Toys R Us for $4...and this game is awesome! I mean I suck right now and it still rocks. Sooo much better then the latest SvR, and the customization options seem insane.
Anyone have any tips on winning the grapples more often, lol

Sooo much better then the latest SvR, and the customization options seem insane. Anyone have any tips on winning the grapples more often, lol As soon as they lock up, BAM hit whatever button you want to press. You will get used to the annimations soon, but you press the buttons when the lock up animations are done, and don't button mash, or you will lose the grapple. The only time you should be button mashing in FPR, is when you are being pinned. Also you should be pressing the directional pads in a circular motion (I guess that's what you can call it) along with button mashing when a submission move is being preformed on you (however, some people don't do button mashing while submissions are done because they don't think it's needed, and it is unsure if it is needed durring submissions). Hope this helped you man. And if you have any other questions, ask away.

Well, sometimes I get ti, I wish it has the sprites of say the Mdickie games. It's possible, as you see the MDickie games have a good amount of wrestlers, and decent looking sprites. I yearn sometimes for a 3d fire pro

Firepro Iron Slam 96', for the Playstation was in 3D, but had alot less to offer than the 2D perspective Firepro games but this was the early days of 3D video games so it was okay for it's time, but they never decided to make another 3D Firepro game. However there is a game called King of Colosseum (and also a King of Colosseum II) and they were also made by Spike. Some people hate the way the wrestlers move around in this game, and call it "very stiff looking" and imo it does look a little awkward, but the gameplay probably makes up for it. Other 3D games from Japan are Wrestle Kingdom 1 and 2 (made by Yukes, and has the Day or Reconing engine) and All-Star Pro Wrestling (I think there is 3 All-Star Pro Wrestling games). You can see gameplay of all of those 3D japanese games here : www.youtube.com/user/HBOSS
