My barber is family friends with my family so, we talk about some normal stuff. "How's school." "how's the family?" blah blah blah Nice guy, but can get boring when he always asks the same things  |

I haven't cut my hair for 5 months now. I feel so poor, even though I have the means to cut my hair I want to grow it out.

I've gotten my hair cut by the same guy for all 23 years of my life.....I enjoy talking to him and the rest of the guys at the barber shop. Whenever I go (usually once every 3-4 weeks), I'm there for like 2 hours and we talk all about sports and stuff, its like a big deal. Same here with my barber, except it's 25 years for me and I don't stay for 2 hours. lol |

Last time, some black lady named Lisa cut my hair. She was really sassy and had big nails. She gave me a good snippin', sure, and she didn't talk my ear off. Hair Cuttery (  ) is kinda hit or miss. Sometimes I get the Mexican lady that doesn't know a lick of English, so she lops off every last lock of my hair. And sometimes I get Lisa, who cuts it well without me looking like a penis. My bangs are kinda uneven, though. wtf lisa  |

I go to Famous Hair for a haircut usually every three weeks. And pretty much everytime I end up with it screwed up because they don't know how to cut hair. FINALLY I have found a girl who can cut...She doesn't try to talk to me, and ask me my life story, she just cuts my hair, and quickly, taking about 5 minutes. THATS what I expect..Not someone who wants to have a social outing with me. Anyone else have a huge pet peeve like this? Hell yeah...Last barber I had (personal barber) did that shit...For TWELVE  IN' YEARS. ALWAYS uneven hair, even when she'd bowl cut it, HOW DO YOU THAT UP?? But no...I actually just got my hair chopped today, so I can spike it again. The past two times I've had my hair cut, I've gone to this expensive ass salon. About 5 bucks more, but SO worth it. |

I love my Barber. Sometimes he cuts it, sometimes his wife, they're both great and they're hilarious to listen to.
Cut my hair just the way I like it, doesn't take long, which is great and I really don't mind them talking to me, as long as they do keep going on about my business.

My barber's an old Italian guy and we have a cliche barber/client relationship where we shoot the **** the whole time I'm getting cut, I like it. Ditto for me, only my barber is American. |

The guy I go to now is cool. He just does his job and doesn't talk. He's there to make $$$ and get the job done right. One time I went to this Spanish chick and she was like, Hey papi, How's school? Where do you go to school? How old are you? I was like yeah.. But anyway I just talked and was nice. I'd prefer just to get my haircut and leave though.. Like I do now.

My neighbor cuts my hair and she is a close family friend, so I have to talk to her.
The worst is the dentist. It is hard to talk when you have all that crap in your mouth.
