I graduated high school with a 1.7 GPA. I went to school like twice per week. Needless to say, I wasn't trying at all. I got into college because of my ACT score, which was a 32. Enjoy your one semester of college. Anyway, I'm not trying to be mean, but with grades like that, college is not going to be fun for you. First, you usually need a minimum of 2.0 to get a degree, and where I go, when you get higher up, the lowest grade you can get is a "C" to pass. I graduted with a 3.35 from high school, and that seems like a 4.0 compared to how I'm doing in college right now. I'm glad that you think that, because I graduated college and I've been working in the field for over a year now. College was a cakewalk. Unlike high school, college was less homework-based and had more to do with your actual knowledge of the subject at hand. It took me 3 semesters to finish my AAS degree and I could get my BAS degree in another 2-3 if I wanted to. Right now, though, there's really no reason for me to get a BAS degree because the current job market values any degree combined with experience as more important than a higher degree with less experience. ... Thanks for the advice, though.
