Ok im not trying to offend anyone anymore i just dont understand ripping perfectly good clothes and putting on eyeliner because you like a band. eye liner adds to my facial features when im bored sometimes- thats it. having black under your eyes can also symbolize sadness for me. i dont do anything for that hell of it- im way into symbolisim |

If we didn't rip clothes, we wouldn't be making a statement. We would be unsatisfied with the average look of plain, generic. We wouldn't be telling everyone that their "neat and tidy" way of life is something that you shouldn't have to worry about. The clothes actively say, "  it, live a little, let's have a good time, 'cause I'm comfortable." I bought a pair of jeans for 4 bucks from a discount place, that were made from american eagle...Really good looking jeans. But, they weren't up to my standards. So I ripped the AE logo off, and set them in bleach. I get complimented on them often, and feel like I can go anywhere in them. Nirvana is a good band. But it's Hot Topic kids, the new generation and such that ed it up for true fans. Because now anyone who's ever listened to Nirvana gets stereotyped. End of my discussion, or so I think. |

I hate to name drop, but here goes.
My roommate is TJ Blank, bass player from the Blanks 77, and lead guitarist from Broken Heroes. I have roadied for both Broken Heroes and Blanks 77. Quincy (former drummer from Broken Heroes) now has a recording studio (The Octopod) and tours with Michael Graves (from The Misfits) & Murphy's Law. I have met & hung out with both Jimmy Gestapo and Michael Graves.
I like punk, metal, old school rap, surf, garage & old R&B music. Do I have to dress a certain way to show what kind of music I like? No. I also like classical music, but you won't see me in a powdered wig, pantalones, stockings and shoes with big buckles.
Who cares how you look. Just be excellent to each other.
Damn kids with yer rock & roll....
