I recently purchased a new winter coat with matching snowpants. There is a matching pair of snowboard boots that I didn't buy.
My question is whether you can wear soft snowboard boots as everyday winter boots?
I have never tried on a pair so i have no idea how stiff they are.
I would only be using them for short walks and then for toboganning, etc..

Snowboard boots are really stiff, and very annoying to walk with, you have to really pick up your feet everytime you take a step which is god annoying.

they keep your feet warm/dry, but are really stiff. i definetly don't reccomend them for walking.

thanks for your help guys. I read that the older styles were really hard, but it sounded like the newer ones with soft exteriors may be a bit better.
I guess not soft enough for walks.
