Since this isnt show discussion I figured i would post this here. I want to try out for American Idol next year, since this year has already started. Does anyone know where I can get audition info, or any sites to see audition info when the time comes? Thanks.

I remember my radio station talked about local auditions. Just look for the major ones and check em out.

I've been considering auditioning after being pressed by many people... I really don't want to wait in a line with a sea of idiots though to prove that I can do the most ball-rattling rendition of "The Final Countdown" though.

I really don't want to wait in a line with a sea of idiots though to prove that I can do the most ball-rattling rendition of "The Final Countdown" though. I'd fly down to Hollywood in a heartbeat when (not if) you made it there. |

I'd fly down to Hollywood in a heartbeat when (not if) you made it there. I would make it for three reasons 1. I  ing rock 2. I ing rock 3. I ing rock I was actually discovered for a band singing karaoke at a bar... I went from doing "My Way" by Frank Sinatra to "Mr. Brightside" by the Killers to "Always" by Bon Jovi to "I Guess Thats Why They Call it the Blues" by Elton John, and finished with "Bat Country" by Avenged Sevenfold... Some friends I have in theater tell me I have a some sort of "octave" range... like 6 or something(I forget...), to which I responded- "What the is an octave?" My motto for singing is this(pardon my ego)- If I hear it 10 times, I can sing it. Yeah, but it would be fun to try if it wasn't such a pain in the ass to wait... The most fun part would be selecting offbeat songs. |
