I'm slapping you out of it for a reason. Psychics and predictions as that are total junk. Psychics are only ever right in the most predictable of situations or on the one rare odd occasion which is generally somehow able to be predicted.

The world will never end. totally ignorant comment there. What do you define the "world" as? the planet earth? if so, yes, it will end, its just a matter of when. i'm a theoretical physics major and have studied a LOT of astronomy. WIththe supermassive black holes that exist in the next galaxy over, andromeda, we are likely to be destroyed within the next 50,000 years. yes, no where near our lifetime, but it will eventually end. soon if we get hit by some random space debris, we're 10,000 years overdue for one of those due to historical mass extinction patterns

Uh . . . 50,000 years? The M31/Milky Way collision isn't going to take shape for another 3 billion. At that point the moon may have recessed enough to totally the tides over and destroy us, but humanity is doomed under its own volition in way less time than that.

People who think the world will end are just stupid people who think too much, who cares if it ends? it wont end when we're here, so just live for the moment man..

According to the good book the world will be destroyed and a new earth will be made and jesus will be here for a thousand years then destroy it and go to heaven with all the saved. so read a f*cking bible. I for one don't think it will end anytime soon. But yes eventually it will. All things end.

I just grew up going to a Baptist Church and I've studied the Bible front to back. It's a great book with good stories. But my belief in it and faith in it is zip. So no not a hypocrite. ;}

Can you please add more sigs, 3 is not enough. Why 2012? What is up with the random silly threads in the Lounge tonight!? because the mayan calendar ends at december 22 2012 and mayans are notorious for be correct about ever ing astronomy crap. Personally I just believe they ran out of room on their stone calendars to write december 23 2012 and so on.

Some Mayan elders believe that 2012 is a transformation date, and not the end of the world.
Oh, and the bible's been wrong too.

The world isn't going to "end" on December 22, 2012....that is just the date when the aliens comeback to reclaim the planet and enslave the human race. We'll wish the world had ended and we had died though.
