As the title says, has anyone else besides me given the Hillside coffee and Hot Cocoa a shot? The self-heating thing is pretty kickass, the instructions are pretty simple, and they taste GREAT. I myself, like going on early morning walks, and it's been damn cold in New Mexico lately, so these have been my bestfriends. I'd even dare to say they come really close to being as good as Dunkin Donuts coffee and hot chocolate. For those wondering how it works, I've typed up the instructions for ya.
Step 1: Turn container upside down. Pull of metal tamper-proof bottom.
Step 2: Place on flat surface. With thumb, firmly push button downward until green water drains. After 10 seconds turn container right-side-up
Step 3: The spot changes color from PINK to WHITE (5-8 min) when beverage is hot. After spot is white, twist lid to align opening. Shake, Open, and Enjoy!
...anyone else like these?
EDIT: The way it works, is that their is a chamber inside the container, that contains Quicklime, the heating chemical... when it mixes with the water, it heats up the drink inside the container.
and no, you don't drink the water or the chemical, smartass.

I'm not much of a coffee or hot chocolate drinker, but the concept sounds awesome.

It's pretty convenient for me man, I've got three dogs, so while I'm getting ready to go out, and putting them outside, I can have one getting ready by itself, without having to boil anything, microwave anything, or any of that other crap. Just turn it upside down, press the button, count to ten, set it right side up and walk away... do what I gotta do, pick it up and I'm out the door.
Very cool thing to come up with, and now they're making Chai Tea, and soups too.
...plus they don't taste like 6 kinds of ass, they're actually really good.

When will the 6 types of ass flavor be coming out? Thats my favorite!
Those sound bad ass and I love me some hot chocolate.
The soups sound gnarly too. Ill have to look for these. Where did you buy them?

Where did you buy them? Ass flavors SHOULD be out early March! I found them at Wal-Greens, Wal-Mart, and my Albertsons has them, even Lowes sells em, and a lot of mom and pop stores. Only thing that could make them better would be if they totally ripped off Dunkin Donuts white hot chocolate... I haven't had that since January of last year in New Jersey. Here's a pic! Best part is, it's not so hot it'll burn your tongue, and it isn't wimpy as hell to where it's practically just body temperature. Next year whenever they do the Black Friday sales, if I go out to wait in line, I'll be taking a couple of these with me.

Interesting. It would be more interesting if I travelled a lot. But it doesn't really sound faster or easier enough to bother using in normal situation s for me,

I don't think anything can replace a large double-double from Tim Hortons.
I'll give it a try, if I see them...

They are really nice, but the heater takes up most of the packet so it takes less time to drink than it does to heat up! It's probably just as easy to bring a thermos with you though.

Love those things. I've only tried hot chocolate, because I'm not much into coffee, but they're really good.
