Ugh, I'm not going to get too deep into this, but the people singling out the breed are very ignorant. Pit bulls aren't naturally agressive dogs who go and randomly bite people. Poor training is to blame for this kind of behavior. Statistically, small breeds like Chihuahua's, Min Pin's, Schnauzers and Spaniel's bite people more often that Pit Bulls do. The only difference is Pit Bulls are much bigger and have much stronger jaws, so when they bite, it does significantly more damage. 90% of the Pit Bulls I see at the clinic I work at are the nicest dogs in the world.

Damn that is some cut, anyways that Pitbull should be watched very closely as he has attacked now and will more than likely attack again. And again. these dogs just should'nt be allowed to be under the responsibilty of mostly idiots who own them. simple as.

Have you not seen in the news reports of the same pitbull attacking more than once.

I think it's awesome that you thought about your sister, but next time, kick the thing right in the teeth. It's a pitbull.
Hope you feel better, man.

Have you not seen in the news reports of the same pitbull attacking more than once. i meant it could attack people over & over unless something is done about it. i think you have to go to the source, the owner and where they got the dog from. Btw geezer who was attacked, hope u get better soon.

I was attacked by a pit bull when I was 11, he bit my left hand pretty badly, I had to go to the hospital and stay for a week because the Pit gave me blood poisoning...We filed suit, and won at least.

No NSP, it was the neighbor dog. I was walking home from school after picking up my lil sis, and the dog ran out of the gate and tried to get my sis so I took it down and it won. He got up and went for her but the owner got it. My sis is fine though (thank god!) School... 5 days after Christmas? I got detention, and was picking my sister up from her friends house. So I will give you an update, the dog is fine. The owner was actually rude, and when the cops came, said I provoked the dog. Why the would I provoke a dog wit my lil sis near bye? So the owner paid for the hospital visit, and then for the stuff I need to rub on it.

I've been trying to tell people this for a while. I have owned quite a few dogs growing up and pit bulls were my favorite dogs(and least violent). On a side note, most house insurance policies will drop you if you have a pit bull on the property.
