Simple question I've yet to see be asked, and whether it's always the same every year or different this year, what do you have this year? Real or Fake? Simply put, my tree spins and Marth Stewart grew it. _________ And I had another question in mind, so consider this a 241er. When it comes to Santa Claus, whether you have younger siblings or children, how have you explained him to them? I had no say with my nephew or niece, they found out about old saint nick and still expect stuff from family. When I have a kid or kids of my own, I've considered telling them the first time it comes up how other parents wanna give their kids the world but naturally can't afford to. That every thing under the tree is from myself, their mother, friends and family who care for them enough to give them them what ever their little hearts desire or something. I don't like the idea of building kids up on a convoluted image.

We always have a fake tree. Much easier than trying to drag one in from outside.

2 fake trees. One in the dining room, the other in the living room. We usually also get a real one for the family room, but we didnt get one this year.

Always have had a fake tree. The real ones leave a huge mess and you're sweeping up pine needles forever.

Real, for 20 years. Fake trees don't get me in the spirit.

I have a fake one. Normally trees don't interest me that much, and they dont leave a million pines on the floor.

Fake. I don't think I've ever had a real one. Plus, mine isn't even a full tree. It's just a portion of a fake tree sitting on top of a table, because my cat decided he wanted to lay on the branches and they snapped.

A real tree for the 'main' one, and two other fake ones in other parts of the house.
