well yeah, because i go with my parents to get alot of the gifts, so they don't up and get the complete oposite, like they've done before. for example Christmas 2003, "Mom I want a Ricky Williams Jersey". Christmas morning **opens a Ricky Watters jersey**

I used to when I was a lot younger, but maybe only once or twice. Now I don't at all. Definately ruins the surprise. Either I already know what I'm getting, or it's just something small.
It's like my parents don't even try anymore. I'm never really surprised when I open up yet another thing of blah clothes that I'll most likely want to exchange. I keep dropping hints at the 360, but I highly, HIGHLY, HIGHLY doubt that will happen.
I'll most likely end up buying it myself with the money I'll accumulate from Christmas and working in my cousins pizza shop from Christmas day to New Years when I go down to Tennessee.

I used to feel my presents, but my cousin tears the corners off of the wrappings. I want something to look forward to.

I did a very long time ago, and it was the worst Christmas ever. I was 11 or 12, and I found out they were hidden in the crawl space. One day when my mom was shopping and dad was at work; I went down and found out I was getting a r/c car, and my dual cassette Sony Boom box (told you it was a long time ago), and several other things. Well; I was so excited I forgot to turn the light off in the crawl space. When my mom came home she went down to put somemore things in there and saw the light was already on. My mom yelled at me and had a fit infront of company. Right then she packed everything up and took it all back. That was the year I didn't get a Christmas.
Boy did I learn that year! Since that day I hate when people know what they are getting or buy for themselves. It takes all the fun out of it.

No, I usually give my parents a pretty specific list because they always ask what I want.
This year, though, I practically bought my own Christmas present - Rock Band. I pre-ordered it and watched my dad bring it in the house. It's been sitting in the spare bedroom for a month calling my name. It's finally under the tree now, taunting me.
I could have paid for it myself, but it's all I really wanted for Christmas, and the wait will just make it more worth it.

I only did once. I was on the fence about trying to find the presents, but I accidentally found them when I was looking for something else. It really sucked because it took the surprise out of opening my presents. That's really the coolest part of Christmas as a kid; getting surprised with bad ass presents that you didn't know about in advance. Enjoy it while you can guys, it just gets shittier as you get older.

I used to peak once in awhile but when I accidentally stumbled upon a yet-to-be-wrapped N64, that sucked. Now I just look at the wrapped box and take a wild guess.

My parents have told me what I'm getting since I was 12. Rock Band and The Jason Bourne Collection for me this year. I'm more than pleased with this year's outing.

I used to but not anymore i find it funny how my mum and dad hide such big things in the past three years we have had a quad bike and motorbike and a buggy. how the frig did your 'rents manage to hide a buggy, and you couldn't find it?! thats crazy... i think i've done it once or twice when i was younger...i knew i was getting a Sega Master System when i was like 8/9 as i'd found it in their wardrobe a few months before...when the day came i totally faked that i didnt have a clue...i done the same a few years later when the 1st Playstation came out...it was under the tree this time thou, and just tear a little piece off the corner and had a look... now i usually know what im getting as i ask for it... a new suit (which i already have) a few books (Jeremy Clarkson Biog, Bret Harts Biog etc) and some DVDs and such... one year they hid all my presents around the house for me to search for...that was fun...it took me like, nearly a week to find everything...
