I got a DVD off Ebay from the UK and it is PAL, will it still work here in Canada as we use NTSC. Thanks!

To play on your DVD player, go here: www.dvddemystifiziert.de/codefree_en/codefree.htmlSee if they have your model number or one close to it and hack it. It's why I did with mine. It's how I watched Pan's Labyrinth on DVD before it even came to theaters in my town.

They are different region codes like games such as those on PS2, Xbox etc. hence they won't work because the machines in those region are designed for those media. E.g a game in the UK will be PAL as will the console.

Or you could simply download some kind DVD 'region free' software and play it on your PC.

Get region free software, use a code or use one of those special remotes you get off line... I did it with my DVD player so I can import American shows.
