I think there is something up with my dog..
He's like been shaking A LOT lately, and you can barely touch him and he yelps like you just slapped the hell out of him...

Is your dog a Bichon Frise? My Bichon had the same thing at that age. She had her surgery in one of her legs and the other leg came out once but has never been a problem until we found out it was out at her latest vet visit. The leg that'out is fine though and the repaired leg is better then what she was born with. She'll be fine. It's a rough time through it all but after it's healed up she'll be better than ever. Here's a pic of her the day she came back from the hospital:

Yeah, I figured as she got bigger the colors would show more, but that's a great looking dog. Best of luck with her.

I hate those breeds of dogs, but that is caused by one particular dog. My neighbours dog is half lab, half germ. and it never stops barking, it always tried to murder whoever goes in the yard and it is in no way affectionate.
They arent the greatest of owners, so it may just be that. Hope the dog gets better.

Dude, my dog is 8. I love him to death, and I can tell you love your dog too. The thing is they get old. My dog is still fine, but he sleeps alot more. He loves walks, but gets tired so my dad has to put him back in the truck sometimes because he's too tires to jump the 4 feet up.* She might have a hip problem, but she's getting old, too. *We put him in the truck and drive to the forest preserves and walk him on the trails and through the woods so he can see stuff he doesn't always see. We're not a bunch of weirdos living out of a truck

She barks when someone comes to the door, or someone walks by, but once someone comes in, she is very loving, and just wants to play with that person all day. And she is also a very calm dog and listens very well, so I think it may just be the owners in your case.

She turns 1(human years) next month. whoa man i hope shes alright.. Off-topic-- Can someone tell me why a "dog" year is 7 human years? is it just a myth or something or is it true? I think it's true. Dogs age 7 times faster than us humans. It also makes sense. For example, if a dog lives 7 human years then it would be 70 in dog years.

Nice puppy! my dog was an Alsation (German Sheppard) / Labrador, I miss him, although we all think he is still here in some kind of ghost form, I swear I saw his tail wagging then disappearing a month or two ago and very recently when my dad was feeding the other dogs he said he felt like he had just been knocked out the way from behind, and that is something Shane used to do when he wanted to get to his food, he loved to eat! Seeing your puppy has brought back a load of memories so thanks for sharing the pictures with us! And as a response to the post about the dog that doesn't stop barking, well my dog didn't really bark much, just as much as a normal dog would bark, however he didn't like people who wore hats... That's him by the way, some of you might remember a post I made about him this time last year after he had passed away Anyway, I'll be thinking of your dog, hope everything goes okay, I'm sure it will!

Like Jack's dog, your's should be fine after the surgery. It doesn't sound like anything major, but I'm sure your dog must be in pain. I hope he (or she) does alright.

Sorry to top this guys, but I have a final update.
my mom called me when I got home from school. She got through the surgery, A ok. Everything went fine, and she will be spending the night at the vet's, and be home tomorrow. I'm kinda glad we decided to get the early surgery, because they actually did an X-ray before surgery today, and found out she actually sustained ligament damage as well. So they were able to reconstruct all of it, and she is doing good. She will have to wear a cast for about 3 and a half weeks, and is scheduled to make a great recovery. I just wanna thank everyone who wished me and my dog well, and thank you all so much.
