I know the area where all the letters are on the keyboard but I still can't type without having to look at the keyboard. I still type pretty fast though.

Ye, I can do both. I learned a while ago, and find it very easy to do.

I used to type about 10 words an hour
I spent like an hour looking for letters lol
Now though it just comes natrually to me.
I suppose you just get used to where the keys are

I do look at the key board. heres me typing "i cant type without looking at it" without looking at the keyboard i vant type without lookint af it hmm.. i am impressed with me.  and i type relatively fast, as in i dont take all day, but i do tend to make mistakes because i often change what im going to say in mid-sentence. however, only if im on msn or something will i press enter with a mistake. whenever im posting here for example, i dont make mistakes, i take them out. |

i only have to look when i use the number keys. besides that tho, no i don't have to look & i type pretty fast....i'm not sure how many words per minute or what not, but i'm pretty good. taking typing in high school was the most useful thing i ever did there.

Yeah to both. I can even tell when I've made a mistake without looking, and how many times I need to press backspace.

i could do both if i want. i only type with 2 fingers though. still averaged like 80-100 words a minute or some shit, back in middle school.

I look at keyboard, but if I tried I wouldn't have to. I type 100something words per minute. ( I know from comp. class in school) Same here, I recently got 106 words a minute on something. Typing's a pretty nifty little honker of a thing. |
