Whos the worst teacher whos ever taught you. Worst as in meanness, and worst as in ability to teach?
mine would have to be a art teacher called Mr.Hicks.
He gave me a hours detention for giving him the homework then he loses it so he says i haven't done it.

Lets see, I've had 2. One was my 7th grade Science teacher. She drank 4 of those Lipton Lemon Iced Tea things a day, and she couldn't teach at all. She pissed my friend off so bad, he threw a stapler at her. Another was a Chemistry sub about a month ago. She told my friend to stick his finger in the pencil sharpener, and told me to "shut the hell up" after I said "Hi, how are you?". Yeah, that was a fun day.

I had this one substitute who would slowly hump the corner of some students desk when he thought no one was looking, but everyone saw him.

My math teacher. She never taught at all. If you asked her a question she directed you to the book. If the book could f*cking talk it would be helpful.

My 7th grade English teacher literally couldnt teach. Seriously, we were always correcting her, and what she taught never had anything to do with English. Like we did projects about what we like and stupid crap like that. Eventually, a teacher reviewer came in and sit on a class and she was fired on the last day of school. My classmates, the nice people that they were wrote penis jokes on the chalkboard on the last day (her name was Miss Peters)

I'd have to say my first "Digital Arts" teacher in college, who tried to tell me that ImageReady is the best program to use for designing websites.
I went down to the Director of Education at the end of the class period and explained to him that I would not accept being taught by someone who knows less than I do on my first day of class.

Ive had a few math teachers that just told me to look in the book. I could have ing asked to go to the bathroom and she would have told me to look up the answer in that awful book, wtf. Just answer my question. Seriously, if the teacher isnt gonna answer my questions or help, why not just hire social workers and just hand out books and there ya go. It would be cheap labor and would have the same effect.

my history teacher last year was BLATENTLY prejudice, especially towards French people. anytime anyone would mention France she'd be like "ARRRGHHH don't even get me started on the French!" funny thing was, is that she always said how she hated racists. she would always yell at me for the slightest things too. psh.

my 11th grade Government teacher. She was basically a hippy, but favored all the female students over the males. I couldnt stand her. One day she made all of us ask a question about government and she would answer it, mine was "why is it when we go under oath, and on our money it has to do with god, when church and state are seperate" she refused to answer it claiming i questioned her religios beliefs. So I dropped that class. that ****.

In terms of being a mean teacher:
Mrs Rainier, the new Pottery teacher is a right bitch. I've only had her supervising private study periods but she has this god complex that everybody is misbehaving and makes us put up hands to use the printer or plug in our laptop chargers for instance. There was this hilarious time when somebody argued with her so she went over to get a debit slip, but the drawer was locked, and then she nearly tripped up on the way back to the study area lol.
In terms of being unable to teach:
I used to do Physics and the teacher who taught it was absolutely terrible, and still is. He's a black African from Zimbabwe called Mr Thomas, he has no clue how to hold a class lol. Although his English is excellent he has trouble understanding a lot of things, for example:
Mr Thomas: "[Name] why haven't you done the homework?"
Kid: "Sir, I swear I've done it!"
Mr Thomas: "No swearing in my class!"
Seriously, this happened lol.
Another is the case of him describing a chemical reaction as a "sparkly noise"-this was in Year 11 by the way. When our other science teachers were not giving us work over the holidays and we asked him if he'd do the same, he proclaimed "This is not a communist country". Another, is his tendency for him to come up to you when you've been working hard all lesson, and then say that you haven't done enough work. So you tell him how much you've done, like say, 3 pages, and he still replies "If you argue, you will get a D". Naturally, Mr Thomas encourages people to get Ds. Another time, a few years ago, somebody in his class managed to set the lab on fire. Hilarity ensued regarding his reaction lol.

College: www.ratemyprofessors.com/ShowRatings.jsp?tid=105838In high school I had this teacher that gave us assignments in homeroom, detentions for bodily functions, was ALWAYS under observation by the principal...she was just garbage. Thank god it was just for Spanish and not a class that meant anything.

I have three that stick out.
There was this guy named Mr. Tharp. He "taught" my freshman science class. In the freshman building, for some strange reason, they took out all the sealed walls so basically it was like having classes in a big cubical. It was a very nonsensical idea. Anyway, he'd often walk out of the class and let the guy in the next door cubical, an actual good teacher, teach our class. Tharp was a wrestling coach and for some reason he had to also be a teacher to be the coach. I don't know why, but it explains his total lack of desire to teach. He just flirted with the 14-year-old girls and left the room all day. It was beyond terrible - busy work 100% of the time. We watched the Lorax TWICE - back to back- because he didn't know what else to do. Then he gave us a worksheet on it.
Then there's Mr. Green, my 7th grade shop/tech teacher. This guy had some serious issues growing up or something. He had vicious anger problems. He'd actually throw things at the wall and one time even picked up a trash can and hucked it at his desk. Then he'd go on these bizarre stories about how tough it was for him as a kid for some reason or another. He'd swear, scream, throw things, made us do physical jobs outside that the school didn't want to pay anyone to do (including concreting this area behind the school, scrubbing off graffiti from the benches, shoveling woodchips). It was just a complete disaster and even at such a young age we all knew it.
The last one was Mrs. Chalmers, my 11th and 12th grade Child Development teacher. She definitely had passion for the subject, so that's always good. Her problem was that she was so hard to deal with. She had this little quirk where she saw us all as "children" and as such she treated us that way. We're talking 17+ in that class, so I don't know what her deal was. She'd tell us how she told her kids Santa and the tooth fairy were lies when her kids were little because she "didn't like deceiving her children." When we'd watch the hilariously cheesy and outdated movies, if some scene was so over-the-top stupid and we laughed, she'd shut the tv off and threaten to give us a detention. She was pretty much the most uptight person I have ever met in my life. She saw all confrontation with her views as disruptive, so trying to explain something to her was futile. And she had this irritating problem with enunciation. Instead of 'specific' she'd say 'pacific' - stuff like that. It sounds petty but when you hear it continuously day in and day out, it'll drive you up the wall. I never had any personal problem with her, she liked me even, I just couldn't stand her ways.
