If they were to redo the legends Animal, he needs to be on a bigger body this time. I thik they both do. Neither one was ripped up like Rude or Warrior, they were just massive like 80s Hogan. I agree. Also the ripped body used for his basic figure looked wrong too (Animal looked pretty good though). Hawk's physique seems to me more like a bigger Jesse Ventura (when he was an active wrestler) than Hogan.

I understand there are some liberties taken with figures but I do wish Mattel had some molds for guys like Terry Gordy that were big and broad but didn't have much definition for their abs and pecs. They got kind of close with Harley Race but even then they made him more ripped than he ever was.

The Legends Hawk was on the Austin torso. But had the stupid regular sized arms used on Punk/Kofi/Bryan. I personally think the Austin torso with the jacked arms or even the Steiner jacked arms would look great for an updated Hawk. Since they pretty much have made swappable hands a standard with all figures, I wonder if they could do that with arms? Regular arms and flexing arms. Maybe do some special arms for certain guys that were jacked. The Big Poppa Pump arms look great on his and Superstars figures, but maybe not others. Maybe have a special arm mold of them flexing made for certain wrestlers.

Why does this guy keep putting spamming threads and calls other people trolls makes no sense. Registering and being banned an hour later has to be a record here but I could be mistaken lol

I think his NWA version would need the Steiner arms though because he was a monster back then. I do like the idea of swappable arms on elites though too. I feel like that is a pretty great feature on ultimates.

The Road Warriors are my #1 want, but the most toyetic figure possible is easily Max Moon. That character was designed specifically for toys of him.

I had the Jakks Classic Superstars 9 Road Warriors and Hawk didn’t even come with shoulder pads. And he had plain black tights. So my Road Warriors only had one set of shoulder pads between them and they didn’t have matching attire. I wish I had some of the cooler matching attires back then.
I wasn’t collecting Mattel back when the Legends Road Warriors were out and I’m not an NWA guy, so I didn’t bother getting them on eBay. But when those WWF elites were announced, I ordered that entire set just to ensure I got Hawk & Animal. I never saw them at retail. I got the Battlepack with the blue, too.

The Legends series 1 Road Warriors are great figures but that particular attire is worn out … we now have not only the Legends figures but also the Asylum figures & the upcoming NWA BRG figures but they all have the same color face paint & designs even though the BRG’s do have the correct different shoulder pads which is new & cool … I’m completely on board for more Road Warrior figures from the NWA era but please for the love of God, give them some different looks!! Micro Brawlers and Zombie as well. All the same face paint. At least has to be changed up since they had so many awesome looks.

Their late 1997 Attires would look absolutely brilliant as Ultimates. Of Course so would LOD 2000.
Ultimate NWA Road Warriors should some with spiked jackets and spiked pads with real chains.
