it doesn't look like they have any quality control- aren't they embarrassed asking their customers to tell them what is wrong with their own product?! These issues should be picked up at the factory during production not after the fact by the consumer. It looks like the cost cutting measures they are implementing are not only negatively affecting the WWE line but the entire company. Not only are they cutting every corner to make these figures as cheaply as possible but now it seems they have eliminated QC as well?! The thread about the leg issues has ballooned to 5 pages- that is a lot of people reporting issues with their figures. Instead of halting production and sorting out the problems that exist, it looks like they are just going full speed ahead and hoping people don't notice or that not enough complain so they don't have to fix anything.

I'm just gonna keep posting this pic, because this is what I see when I go to the Walmart nearest my home. I really hope someone from Mattel or Walmart sees this and understands why we are mad. I went to this store hoping to find either some new Monday Night Wars figures, or some new WWE Superstars. THIS is what I found. less than 3 weeks before Black Friday, the busiest shopping day of the year. Overall, I think everyone on this thread has done a great job of expressing the concerns. The photo above is MY concern. No Walmart should ever look like this, let alone for months at a time AND this close to the Holidays.

The walmart closest to me hasn't restocked wwe since the summerslam shipper. Same maivia sets, knuckle crunchers, red tights Superstars hogans, scorpion king rocks for months on end. Crazy depressing.

I've seen two figures from this entire line on shelves. Two. The Rock, with no MyFaction code (and I've seen Rocks with the code). And Boss Man, that somebody ripped the BaF piece out of. That's it.

Need an option for "it is what it is, nothing worth getting worked up over." Yeah, it's not like this is a forum for people who like collecting certain figures, and they might be disappointed they can't find them in the stores they're supposed to be exclusive to or anything.

The concept of this line is great. The execution of it…is a complete failure. I know Mattel will view it as a huge success. They got paid from Walmart, it’s supposedly running throughout 2026 but when the consumer literally can’t find the product how is that successful? I also think the timing of this line was just poorly planned out. Having a line featuring WCW and you don’t have the rights to Sting, Ric Flair, The Giant, Chris Jericho, RANDY SAVAGE. Also, this era was so undercard heavy with guys Mattel is never going to have the rights to.
The thing that really annoys me though. Not only are they throwing chases in a line that’s near impossible to find…they decided to add a build a figure as well. WHY?? Mattel knows the track record of Walmarts distribution….WHY would you include build a figures?!
Then the quality control issues. Just imagine, you’ve been hunting for DDP for weeks/months, you actually stumble across 1 in store, you look and he has Steve Austin’s torso, or 2 left feet, or his calves are on the wrong legs, it has the wrong build a figure part. As ridiculous as all that sounds…That’s what collectors are running into. What do you do? Keep this quality control disaster of a figure? Or return it with the possibility of never seeing another one at a Walmart store ever again.
A Lot needs to be done to fix this line. A LOT.

I haven't bought many figures from the line since most are repaints of existing superstars that Mattel has released. The line was always going to fail due to not enough new faces to make the lineups exciting and fresh when that era had so many superstars from the WWF and WCW to choose from.

To be honest, we knew when it was announced in comic con 23, the second we saw Walmart exclusive slapped on it, it was going to be like this. With that being said, the figures have hit the right feeling of nostalgia and I’m hoping I can find them. Also hoping the line continues until there are no more figure choices

I’m still somewhat optimistic that at least online distribution will be ok going forward. Hopefully we see these preorders ship on time without any hiccups. I want this line to have legs. We’ve gotten some highly requested figs that probably wouldn’t have ever gotten made if not for this line. Debut Hall, Nitro debut Luger, Fake Diesel, Terminator shirt Austin, Disciple, etc.

I go to walmart and never see new figures. Been checking walmart’s website multiple times a day for Curt Hennig to become available, never happens.

yes in part due to supply and demand. but i will say the line has kinda of been dull as a whole. some BAFs i wish were standalone elites. but i get it. the regular line of figures are mostly re-releases with a tweak or 2 if any. i do like some of it tho, i just wish i could buy it. as a customer , it is pathetic this is still happening.

It gave us Denim Scott Hall, and the Yellow Razor Ramon
That's all i have from this line. So for me, that's a success i guess.
