So after my latest receivings.....6 out of 10....yes 6!! of them have "frozen" legs at the hip joint. Every single one of them being the right leg.

Just got my Elite 114 Jey Uso, reg and chase...both have ankle lockage on the left foot. The reg version worth than the chase, with the regular having stiff leg syndrome. Kind of kills the vibe, as I've never had any issue with Mattel outside of this and my Amazon Undertaker. Ghrrrrrr

It’s the damn ratchet joints at the hips for me. Feels like every 4 out of 5 for me are stuck and no matter what I do, they never budge. After all these years you’d think Mattel would finally retire the damn things and just use ball joints for everyone.

But the ball joints are also having the same issue now - so it is a lose-lose situation.

I don't know what the fix is other than me stopping the purchase of Mattel figures. That seems to be the fix.

Opened my Outsiders UE RSC Exclusive 2 pack today and both Nash and Hall have the rebounding leg issue. Halls is left leg and Nash's is right leg. Gonna hopefully heat them up and take them off to see whats happening.
Other than that I love them. They look fantastic. Also, can we do away with the drop down hips? Honestly what is the point of them? It looks bad and makes putting the legs back into place a more delicate process bc of how fragile they are at the joint.

I'll cosign doing away with drop down hips I dont even understand the purpose of them to begin with. What human beings hips drop down like that? 😂 does it make it easier to put a figure in a sharp shooter or something? It makes no sense to me. I guess I could see them being nice on a fat figure thats legs have trouble moving around the crotch piece but ffs it's useless on the others.

They do, however, suffer from EDS.

I got my SDCC HBK. His legs are significantly bowed. I haven’t had an issue with drop down hips before (I don’t care for them, but it’s never caused an issue with my figures) but HBKs pegs feel very fragile. I don’t know if that’s from the bowing, but if I don’t exchange him I won’t feel super comfortable messing with him a ton.

some people man...lol. Steve posts a thread specifically asking for leg issues and yet people are like "yeah but all these 15 other things too!"....can we just for once focus on the topic at hand and be constructive/informative instead of using this as an opportunity to complain about other things? ON TOPIC I've noticed quite a few recent figures having tighter hip joints to where the legs just don't move in a natural way. Most recently, my MNW DDP has a "bow" leg where his right one just stays at this weird angle This is how it looks coming right from the package I haven't experienced any "freezing" like others have said, but there's definitely some kind of weird warping issue that seems to be on a lot of newer figures and I get a LOT of warped foot parts that make it hard for the figures to stand up. My MNW Hogan had this exact same problem
