Well.... I guess we need to wait a couple years to get a corrected From the Vault version of Bubba...
Seriously, there wasn't an Otis or any other fat guy torso they could have used???

Usually I’d be pissed about this but I bought two. One to keep MOC and the other to do some swaps with the Vault Dudleys to make a 2000/2001 era Dudleys

Do they not receive samples and realize when something is totally out of scale?

Why do they have black tables? Didn’t they mostly use brown Because mattel is too lazy to make accurate accessories

Do they not receive samples and realize when something is totally out of scale? Honestly I could live with the black tables if they didnt have a massive modern WWE logo embossed on them. I have no idea why they don't just use plain weapons or at the very least make the branding more subtle

Was gonna get these but instant pass after seeing the scale. Also am I the only one complaining about the black sides of the belt plates? The cactus had that as well but the DM RVD actually has VAC gold on the side of the plates making the belts look much better. It's little details like that that make figures/accessories so much better. How about a new table mold that actually has the correct length and width instead of the cartoon looking ones we have now

I think you’re all making a mountain out of a molehill, you could very easily swap some shorter boots on bubba and he was pretty plump around then, there’s no reason for him to be shirtless

When you pay 50 bucks you shouldn't have to though.

Also, you'd lose the "3D" on the boots if you do a swap.

Gotcha

I’ve wanted these as much as everyone else, I own most Dudley figures, I get that YOU shouldn’t have to fix them yourselves but everyone’s going on like they’re unfixable I think you’re all making a mountain out of a molehill, you could very easily swap some shorter boots on bubba and he was pretty plump around then, there’s no reason for him to be shirtless So instead of getting what we pay for, we should instead spend more to swap parts around in order to get properly scaled figures. Gotcha Yeah clearly mate, get a grip

Yes, I plan on doing this myself, they’re not perfect but they’re what they put out and it’s how they’re going to stay unless we get a running change I’m not team Mattel, I don’t event collect Mattel really

Changing the boots solves nothing. Bubba is as wide/rotund as Andre. His head is absolutely massive. Every part is completely out of proportion/scale as they matched it all to the giant torso. You’d need a resized head just for starters. It’s ridiculous.

I don’t have an issue with Buh-Buh’s torso, since he was a hefty dude back then, but his height does bug me. His figure towers over the new Sandman figure, and that shouldn’t be the case.

I have very often defended Mattel on here, but I definitely think people have the right to be angry that the height is this far off.
For $25 a figure -- and knowing this set is especially for collectors -- Mattel really needs to pay attention to things like that. They should admit it was an error and say they'll do better.
I think if they owned up and said they're sorry it slipped through, people would be a lot less frustrated about it.

I'm not sure how much longer I can do this, even if you take the scale outta the equation my Bubba is half LJN half dollar store figure. It may as well have no articulation from the waist down. Then the waist just spins, only kept a little in check by the shirt. He has a bobble head and his torso is floppy, but this is mitigated better by the shirt. I know for the LJN...heat. But anymore the heat isn't always working.
