It’s very telling how little interest/faith people have in this line when on page 1 it’s already about similar scale but completely unrelated Rocky and Spider-Man figures. My nostalgia itch for this form factor is 80’s WWF, personally. But to each their own. Don't get me wrong, while I'm not an LJN guy, I do appreciate them. And the right wrestling names in that style would definitely appeal to me. I came close with the Bulldogs from the Majors, but the whole limited pre-order plus huge price tag just put me off. If somebody, no real matter who, puts somebody I've just got to have out, I'll probably dabble. Always comes back to prices for me, though, as well as reasonable availability. As others have said, though, as far as Rush goes, he's not even managed to fulfill the products he initially had on sale in the Hasbro style, and what was released was terrible. Him branching off yet again is frankly questionable at best.

Since your claim that you only use this forum as your source for information its clear you have missed some very substantial information about this guy. He uses instagram a lot and if you saw the things he has posted over the years the last thing he deserves is another post on this board promoting anything he has to “offer”. It might be time to create some accounts on other social media’s to keep up with content. I highly doubt any of your “clients” would be able to figure out or find you on other platforms if you use discretion in your content and names used for said accounts…just a thought and no offense intended

I highly doubt any of your “clients” would be able to figure out or find you on other platforms if you use discretion in your content and names used for said accounts…just a thought and no offense intended to add to that, he also deletes most of what he posts on IG anyway - all of his "updates" are via live videos which expire after 24hrs anyway, and sometimes he'll delete the video from his story/page before the 24hr window has passed, usually because someone has called him out on the BS he spouted during the video
he constantly promotes his wares using concept art, then he's got the ready made excuse of "final product may vary" if/when a product actually makes it to a consumers hands
he regularly promotes dates/deadlines which then pass, and he will delete all posts related to that date/deadline to pretend it never happened - case in point, Halloween 2023 was promoted for at least 2 months as the date when the WHOLE of the Monsters line would go up for sale (well, preorder, as even he has such little faith in his own product that he won't risk his own money on it) and by the time Halloween came around, he changed the announcement to "Frank only" and deleted the previous posts promoting the other figures/wave.
Then after people were posting questions asking about their wrestling figure preorders he was yet to manufacture, he just deleted their comments or the posts themselves
Oh, and that's before we get into the crowdfunding scam he tried to pull to "crowdfund" making the Frank monster figure - which is just another way of him taking your money, for a product he had no plans to produce. funny how that ended sooner than expected.... did someone report him to Kickstarter as a scam outfit or something? because he has never mentioned why it was taken down so quickly
so whilst it's true that he does use IG as a source of information for his followers, but he will regularly manipulate the account to make it look like everything is peachy when in fact, it's worse than a toilet at 6am on a Saturday morning after a Friday night curry and beers.

However I am an interweb-dweller since 1997 and know the internet is full of keyboard warriors (heck, occasionaly I've been one myself the past 27 years!). So if you're a small enthousiast producer of Hasbro-like figures and people attack you because it is not what they envisioned or the quality is below their expectation, I'm pretty sure at a certain point you bark back. Yes, I know the argument is: we pay a pretty premium price for the retro figures at pre-order (or even stock sale from the UK, as I do). In the end however these are pretty tiny companies, selling a NICHE product. They don't have someone to QC the product in China. These are tiny companies, not a billion dollar corporation like Mattel and heck; even Mattel got flack over Mattycollector products!

Problems are inevitable in this game of small businesses, most definitely. With that in mind, though, "Rush" really should have the intelligence to understand that maybe spreading his already limited funds and resources even thinner by branching off into yet another figure line when his initial figure line is neither up to scratch, completed or in customers hands, is a stretch too far. He's biting off more than he can chew and wondering why he's continuing to receive criticism. It's an exercise in futility. But good luck to the guy, and good luck to his customers.

Well, the LJN and Galoob style are less risky I guess. I'd think production of this type of figures is easier.

I would agree with you but he took money for Micro Brawler style Roadblock and Joey Knight (including 2 variants of each) 2 years ago and there’s not been a sniff of an actual update or delivery date. The retro figures weren’t great but were not bad enough to get the guy so much hate, his attitude after and continuing to make more lines whilst he has not delivered the ones paid for is a different story.

Ok, I must admit there's no excuse for a 2 year delay of Micro Brawler style figures...

And I can't lie, if he starts making Galoobs then I'll definitely be interested, lol.

Hopefully he signs more big names to go along with Roadblock. I’m thinking The Gambler, Joey Mags, maybe even Joe Gomez!

If you want some boring, white bread clock-watcher who's gonna get you your figure when you ordered it, for the agreed upon price, Sal's not your guy.
You ever play toy figure Russian Roulette? Time to spin the chamber, Boris... By purchasing from Rush.

I LOVE that more companies are at least announcing getting into this form-factor. But, so far at least, only Major Bendies have proven reliable with Big Rubber Guys- which I order from without hesitation. The others, Rush and Latoonie, I’m in “wait and see” mode.

I actually really like the render, throwback poster and packaging (not shown). I’m not getting this one, but look forward to reading/hearing reviews from those who do.

Haha yeah, looks great. Zero chance of me pre ordering 😆 I honestly can’t tell if you’re sharing my opinion or mocking my post. Regardless, I really do like the presentation. But as I posted earlier here and elsewhere, I’m only getting WWF LJN era at this point. Plus, like others have noted, this brand hasn’t proven reliable. So I’d rather monitor from the sidelines for a while first, myself.
