I'm on board with anything that gets more legends figures on shelves. Unfortunately I cant imagine a SNME line would be viable without some returning names or completely new names to keep it alive, there's only so many Hogan and Bob Orton repaints before people lose interest you know. .
Personally, what I think would be the optimal way to go about it would be to expand the legends line to 5 or 6 figures plus a chase then every so often do a wave dedicated to a dead PPV or program (Starrcade, SNME, Great American Bash, Superbrawl, etc). Even if it was something as simple as an additional logo next to or instead of the legends logo like they did with the DX wave, id imagine people would be stoked to get more niche or one off attires

I’d buy whatever they could put in a classic SNME line.

Eh, I’d rather have a WCW nWo Revenge line with game specific attires and packaging. By my count, they could only make 18 out of that roster with guys currently signed.

If it helps, there are a lot of attires from these shows that they already released. You know how much Mattel loves their greatest hits figures, they could do one for this line, too.

And what does theman do for a living? …Has this already been established and I missed it?!? Theman is a snitch just like his hero Hogan. And boasting about it what a despicable little man.

I’ve wondered if my Mattel collecting might wind down when Coliseum Collection comes to an end, other than the occasional Legend that fits my 80’s collecting era. But a SNME specific line with well designed packaging would absolutely pull me back in! Like others have said, though, they only have so many Legends signed, so it would be lots of repeats (which I would pass on). Plus, if they give the current Elite style small-window openings, as a MOC collector, I’m out.

Don’t worry guys Steve and Bill will give the line to Walmart anyway. Distribution should be fixed for this line.

I would take any kind of SNME sub-line they want to do. Id also probably be one of the people complaining that they're using guys we've gotten a few times already lol.

OK, now it is officially announced by WWE, I could see this more of a themed wave of something. Like a Legends wave, where maybe they have a SNME sticker. Or our luck, variant packaging. Like maybe Legends 27 would be 4 wrestlers/announcers from that SNME timeframe, or even in SNME gear, and half the packages would be the current legends line and the other half would be some sort of SNME packaging.

I know some collectors want uniform packaging for the lines, but I would love this idea, personally.

Since basics are now called Main Event they could just do an all 80s wave and rebrand it SNME kinda like what they’re doing with the Mania wave.

I still prefer at least Elites. All of Hogan’s basics have been great, especially the ones with the molded on shirt. Warrior’s basics as well with the exception of his height on occasions. Most guys of the 80s didn’t have a lot of color or accessories so basics or ME are perfectly fine for most.
