Keep in mind if you ordered with Paypal that these went up for sale and were charged on March 29th. There are 188 days between Mar 29, 2024 (Friday) and Oct 3, 2024 (Thursday) Item Not Received disputes must be opened within 180 days of the date you sent the payment to the seller. This delay has essentialy voided any buyer protection you had for this purchase. Might make sense to cancel and re-order if you're still on the threshold. If anyone wants to go for it and this would give you a sense of security, go for it!

All kidding aside, I sympathize with you guys in wanting these to come in. They rule, it's the best Nash and Hall ever made. It's understandable and it's totally fine to be frustrated, I'm not taking that away from anyone. But, good customer service is a response to an email, which you can easily do...communicate with the storefront. cs@ringsidecollectibles.net is and always has been the Customer Service email. It's pretty simple, delays are delays and that's probably the response you'll be given there. Unsatisfying perhaps, but true. The company reserves the right to not provide extensive business detail and there is no need to provide social media updates on this in a broad scale, we choose not to. Typically there is a mass emailing for canceled figures or certain delays but I would consider the idea that perhaps this exclusive in particular was just moments from arriving and circumstances far beyond our control changed. It isn't hard to imagine. You have to live with it, I have to live with it and you're welcome to cancel your order and open up stock for someone else who can wait the extra time and wants it also. Good customer service for those who paid for these? I think most of the collectors have been pretty patient about this, but it keeps dragging on.... These were scheduled for "Late August" and the Port Strike started on October 1st. Your patience is appreciated. It changes nothing about the fact that the figures aren't here yet. We want to send them out just as much as you want them. If they aren't here...we can't send them. It's that simple. We waited and waited during the month of September and I wasn't on the ship crossing the ocean so I can't give you details as to what has taken so long. Ships take time to cross the ocean. The world turns. Because.....a statement...or email...would....prevent those "conspiracy theorists" you speak of. It's all hearsay at this point, SOMETHING from you guys would prevent that. And not something on social media, as not everyone follows you guys on there nor do they even care to make an account. I don't agree that any statement or email would stop any conspiracy theorist in this day and age but you're welcome at any time to email customer service for an update. As I said above, it might not be the update you want. But it's what you will get. I know plenty have done this. That's one of my suggestions for you. That said your point about air freighting is flat out wrong. While I still maintain that it's no one's business, I can say that exclusives aren't always air freighted like regularly shipped sets. This one wasn't. Not even a small amount. Out of courtesy? We've paid for the product up-front, the least you guys could've done was put out something - whether that be an email or a social media post, whatever. Just some communication would be nice, you know? And to echo what others have said, the conspiracy theorists wouldn't have had anything to go on if you'd done the above. I just think as probably some of if not the most informed figure collectors on the internet, there should be a huge lack of conspiracy theories when it comes to wrestling figures. We are extremely transparent in comparison to other stores, companies and brands. Otherwise, see above. You're welcome to email customer service at any time for an update and you can expect a response as promptly as possible. A social media post would cause unnecessary chaos that we don't need our social media team dealing with. You may be a reasonable person, but there are insanely high numbers of unreasonable people who will spam, troll and do everything they can to make social media a completely unpleasant experience for us and for fans. I have 0 interest in that or causing that for my team, the job is insanely busy enough and it's sometimes bad enough coming here and having to cool things down. Cooling things down on social media for something we can't even control is a non-starter. Ringside is the only place I order figures from that charges up-front for pre-orders. In my entire collecting life, I've only pre-ordered one time from Ringside and that was almost a decade ago at this point. I'm not about to give anybody an interest free loan, basically. Interest free loan of $75 is a reach but as I said above, you're welcome to cancel the order and ask for a refund at any time up to the date of shipment. If you're still unhappy at that point with your lack of interest payments, you can send it back for a refund on the cost of the item. There is ONE influencer who received a sample directly from Mattel and I have seen that fuel the idea that we sent these to influencers already (even though no one else has posted anything about it, go figure). Admittedly I was extremely unhappy when I found this out for exactly this reason...I knew people would be using that to claim we're prioritizing promotion first. I'm also not happy that person didn't even ask us if they should wait to promote it, which for me would have been a nice courtesy but in that person's defense, they have it in hand, so what can we really do? At least people got a look at it. What those complaining also don't know is we received an incorrect sample case and I don't even have my copy yet...exclusives especially typically always end up in my hands first for the unboxing. Clearly this item has had issues. But again...I'm sharing this to try and help you guys in particular understand, but it isn't something that needs to be broadcast broadly. I'm chiming in here because I consider even those that don't like me on the board friends of mine, or at least, friends of WFigs, so I'm happy to participate, but I lose the drive for that when I see such ridiculous things said sometimes. To allude to the idea that we are somehow withholding these figures and covering it up with the strike is absurd. The strike has literally nothing to do with us. At all. As far as 'Late August' becoming September, factory delays happen so instead of immediately saying 'oh no, there was a factory delay' we try to give it a chance at arriving before causing unrest for no reason. As you can see, anything even slightly off (a month isn't exactly a huge stretch of time, especially if you've ever pre-ordered a Super7 or a competitor item, I've seen things take over a year) causes unrest. The strike is a completely different situation and completely out of our control. Someone even said on Facebook we shouldn't be blaming the strike but should be doing more to help those striking??? (lmao wut?!) It's just obscene the willful ignorance in that case...to even think that is very shocking to me. I'm used to the delay rhetoric but that was a new one. My suggestion if you're unhappy with the strike and all that comes with it is to flood Donald Trump's social media and complain that you want your Outsiders figures because he's the one in cahoots with the union boss leading this to make the economy look bad before the election, but I digress. When the strike is done, these are going to be in your hands. That's what's holding them up. As a representative of the company I apologize for the delay. As the RSC community face I say, my DMs are always open, here and on social, if you have a question and I can do what I can to explain what I can at my convenience. Keep in mind that there is so much work to be done that it isn't a priority to respond to every single person individually with a novel like this but I will do my best if you approach me without any hostility and keep it polite. All my best to everyone as always. Oh, I didn't pre-order these. I was just giving my POV on this.

I did send an email 6 days ago....no reply.. The sentiment is appreciated and I like you too. My advice would be to title your email next time you reach out. If I'm customer service I'm not really prioritizing emails (of which there are hundreds) without a subject. Not even a knock...just the truth. I can't guarantee a response but I can promise it's more likely.

The main point is really that sometimes I think it's forgotten that I'm here and I'm pretty open so if everyone can approach or tag me and ask for an update before starting to blame delays on outlandish things which is what causes me to write out firm responses, I'd definitely be up for it on a more regular basis.

RSCTom thanks for your detailed response, I hadn't seen it yet when I posted it and was just trying to have a little fun with the situation. I'm probably not as "mad" about it as I may come off on here, I realize they're action figures. I'm just excited to get them - they look really, really great & I've been excited to get them since March! The whole Outsiders invasion of WCW was one of my favorite things ever in wrestling and these figures look like (maybe) the last Hall & Nash I'll ever need to buy. I've always had nothing but good dealings with Ringside Collectibles and I always tell people that!
