Sometimes I feel like my job and life are grinding me to a pulp. Anybody got any tips of how to manage stress?

Sometimes I feel like my job and life are grinding me to a pulp. Anybody got any tips of how to manage stress? Movies, music, hobbies, pets, shopping. Life isn't always easy for many, including yours truly. When I was a teen a lot of my escape was going to a mall. It still is a stress reliever for me to this day.

Music, self-isolation, acupuncture, meditation, long walks in the woods.

My therapist told me something that really stuck with me. It's simple, but it helped me, so hopefully, it can help you.
"Remember, you're the boss. If you want to do it, do it; if you don't, don't. You're in control; you are the boss."
Simple but I always think of that when my thoughts start getting the best of me.

Start working out the body, then the mind clears up, then the soul clears up, then you take care of all 3 daily, not every day is good, bad days we have to endure.

For me I been going through really hard last year. It’s gotten a lot better but the stress really is still there and gets to me

Exercise
If you don’t like the gym try martial art? I do both it helps
Find pretty place to work and just lose yourself in a walk if you can
Get invested in TV show. Really TV show kinda distracts me pretty good. Since I’m so focused on what’s next Shooting has been a blast for me
If you buddies try to make plans. I been killing to see friends but I know life/schedules make that super hard
If you have family that is close maybe making plans to go out and eat can be nice distraction
Use PTO from work if you can and be assertive about your MH.

I've been focusing on lots of sport, meditation, and really trying to carve out more time away from the internet and gadgets. It’s been such a game-changer for both my physical and mental health. Stepping back from screens and reconnecting with myself has helped me feel more grounded and energized. Recently, I picked up some proper gear from dunham sports, and it’s made a world of difference in my workouts. There’s something about having the right equipment that not only enhances your performance but also boosts your motivation to stay consistent.

Nature often helps me to decompress. Fresh air and sunlight on a hike or even a walk in a park are always nice

Get in the gym and start setting small weekly/monthly obtainable goals. I made a resistance band set up in my garage (costs like 25 bucks) and I hit it four times a week now. The routine and results have brought me back from wanting to "check out" a year ago to enjoying every day for the last two and a half months.

Here are a few things that have helped me:
Meditation Eating less processed/garbage foods Removing myself from people and just being happy doing things by myself Exercising Reading Last but not least, every now and then “herbs” and honestly it’s been a game changer and has literally decluttered my anxiety/physical pain

Don’t settle for a job you dislike, or people around you that upset you. Change your surroundings. Doing that very soon myself.

When I am stressed out I ususally eat spicy food and play online games —it’s a fun escape that clears my mind! Exercise and deep breathing also help a lot. If things get overwhelming, reaching out for support is key. There are resources like Canada Drugs for stress management supplements, but a balanced approach with hobbies and breaks is often most effective.
