So who does WF rank as the best punchers over the years? We've had a lot of ME players use punches but their stuff looked like it wouldn't break eggs.....who do you guys think of then you think of GREAT punchers? here's mine in no particular order.
Rick Steiner:he always looked like he was laying them in good.
Jerry Lawler: probably one of my favorite punchers.
Stone Cold. I always liked the Austin threw hands going back to the "Stunning Steve" days...
Scott Hall: def one of the finest punchers in Pro Wrestling. so good that Angle would mimmick his style during training and end up retaining it.
Jeff Jarrett: Like Lawler always threw very good punches.
HBK(95-98): He really upped his game here when he turned face....his stuff looked good.
Bret Hart: There's still a great snap to Brets punches...
Hogan: Less so in WCW as he got older but in his heyday in WWF he used to lean into these properly and they looked like they would bust you open.
what say you folks?

Bret Hart, Scott Hall and Shawn Michaels are my top three.
Punches and kicks, especially kicks look so damn fake these days.

When I read the title Hall & Bret were the ones that came to mind first. I could put Rick Steiner as number 3. But Piper threw a great punch as well. And I guess Lawler would be my Top 5.

All the names mentioned above I totally agree with!
I will also like to add in Barry Windham on that list. He had pretty solid looking realistic punches.

Lawler, Bret, Austin come to mind. Austin said on his podcast that Windham had one of the best punches in the business.

Reminds me of a Foley quote
“When I went to Triple H one day, I went, 'Hunter (because no one uses real names in the world of wrestling), you worked with both Steve and Rock, right? He goes, 'Yeah!' I go, 'What's the major difference?' 'Uh, Steve's punches hurt like hell; the Rock's don't hurt at all.' I said, 'Exactly!' But they both looked tremendous. They both were masters of their art."

That’s pretty much why I didn’t say Austin, because most of the time he was actually laying them in. Pretty sure one of the DVD’s (?) about Stone Cold his coworkers were all telling stories of how he was constantly apologizing in the ring for connecting. lol

Some that haven't been named.
Angle Taker Thought Sting had good one's.

Taker's short punches looked devastating and much more painful than the big haymakers.
