Sid Justice era elite is way overdue. If in the legends line Royal Rumble blue attire with SNME red attire as a chase. If it’s a UE - black trunks, black boots, white socks, vest, with 3 different era heads. WM 8, 96-97, 00 wcw champion Would be nice to get a million dollar corporation Sid or WM 11/ Raw after WM 11 Sid. I'd buy all of those. This is a top want for me when it comes to Sid figures. A two pack of this pic would be even better!

Mattel has done cloth singlets and pants - I'm surprised they haven't done cloth trunks yet. Have the main fig in black/vest/title for Psycho Sid and include red and baby blue trunks (and a head/hair from his Sid Justice run). Some people might buy it three times. They do, they've already done an elite Andre and ultimate Kurt Angle that I can think of Yup, that's why I said Mattel has done cloth singlets before.

Soft goods trunks would look terrible. Probably would end up looking like a diaper. We don't know how it will look until they create it (if they ever do). Mattel is literally a doll and accessories company. I'm sure they can make soft goods trunks that are tight enough (with the right material) so they don't look like a diaper. The cloth singlets are bulky because they are one piece that you have to get past the action figure's feet, legs, torso, shoulders, etc. Trunks would only need to go past his feet and legs and it's not like Mattel is known for giving the WWE figures huge/thick legs. If Sid is released as an Ultimate, he'll have the same scrawny legs.

Do you guys think the first elite Sid could be used in a WCW1993 display? Or did he still have the longer Sid Vicious hair?

Gotta think Sid is a big enough name Mattel might move and shift things around to make it happen like the Ultimate Razor after Hall died.

If they do an Ultimate Sid, they need to add a Justice head too…possibly even a cloth singlet. I was kind of bummed out by the SS Sid Justice doubled as Sid Vicious because I just wanted the trunks and those singlet torsos are never big enough on Elites. Ultimate Sid needs his own body type similar to RA Lesnar, but maybe taller and slightly less thick.

I agree. Sid is one of those characters that needs his own mold. His figure look a little too scrawny. I wish he had thicker legs and a slightly wider torso.

I think everyone is viewing Sid through the nostalgia glasses right now because of his unfortunate passing
Forgetting that his original elite was one of the biggest pegwarmers of that Elite packaging run. An Ultimate would be a legitimate bomb at retail. There's not enough "meat" on the bone. Yes, I would buy it...and a bunch of people on this board/in collectors forums would buy it. But that's about it.
I want them to focus on getting us a proper Elite Sid Justice, Legends line is the perfect spot and there's a couple of ways they could do it:
Light blue trunks (RR '92) with the merch shirt he had in the early 90s...yeah he didn't actually wear it to the ring, but it existed and would be cool added value. Then make him as the chase with red trunks. Also include a different head, either way its all Sid Justice.
Light blue trunks (RR '92) and the chase being black trunks. Include 2 different heads, a black vest and the WCW big gold. Even though he didn't wear blue in WCW, it would be like the Wolfpac Luger that had the chase in orange trunks but still came with a wolfpac shirt...sometimes accessories don't have to make sense with a figure, it's just there for added value and I don't think they ever make different accessories with chase figures, right?
But doing that means we could buy both to have a proper WCW Champion Sid and a RR '92 Sid.
Personally I'd just rather have the full on Sid Justice in blue. Throw some extras in there to make it worth the casual collectors time and you have an easy buy.

Less mass produced, and a chase could excite the sales as other chases has. Win win for everybody imo.

I’d be very willing to bet the majority of that has to do with it being possibly the most godawful head Mattel has ever put on a figure.

If we do get an ultimate, I hope Mattel doesn’t take anyone’s advice here on any gimmick diaper trunks. Every time people ask for these things it usually doesn’t turn out too well *cough* removable Kurt Angle singlet, rubber top singlet Mr.Perfect, smoking head Goldberg… Let’s just get a traditional ultimate Sid with a variant.
