That's such a nice tribute. I need to check out some of Sid's USWA stuff. Any recommendations where to start, Brain? Def check out his run as champ in 94/5 Also check out his run as Lord Humongous in CWA. Such a cool forgotten character

Wonder who will eventually induct em I think HBK. When I think of his WWE run, I think his match with Shawn at RR 97 was his best and Shawn has said himself how important he was to HBK's legacy.

Shawn seems like a safe bet
I would have Harvey Wippleman do the honors considering their history in both WWF and Memphis

I saw what Lance Storm posted about Sid and it's so freaking cool. Something along the lines of Sid would show up in ECW dressed as he was, take off his shirt, put on an elbow pad, go out to the ring, win, come back and take off the elbow pad, put back on his shirt and then leave. Incredible! Ha ha ha
Even smart mark wrestling fans loved Sid. Sid had something about him that just connected with the fans.

HBK is a good choice. Their onscreen relationship ran from 95 - 97....as allies and enemies. Its solid ground.

Sid vs Heath Slater on 2012 on RAW was cool. One last final Sid moment.

I just read something that made me love big Sid even more. The whole he always went home to play softball thing was partly true, but he also went home all the time because he was a real family man and wanted to see his kids grow up. That honestly makes me respect him even more. He was a big star in the wrestling business, but he never put it before his family or let it completely take over his life.
