With the Singlet on, I think he looks fine independently. However, on my shelf I initially I had Ultimate Angle next to Hardcore Kane, and he makes Hardcore Kane look like a ing cruiserweight.

It's one of Mattel's bigger failures. The part choices and the Barbie clothes are a disaster. I saw it for $30 in a local toy shop and still passed.

It was a disaster from the start when Kurt's first Mattel figure had greenish hair and painted-on shorts over a shredded body. The UE somehow took the "Kurt is too jacked" idea and amplified it even further to the point of being absurd. It looks like a TTL Kurt with the baggy cloth singlet only somehow more ripped than even what Jakks would do. It's one of the more baffling things from Mattel that can't be an oversight since they had to design the UE from the ground up due to the torsos being different.
I give them a pass on the upcoming Legends figure since it was made years ago for that Attitude Era series and just unreleased, but at SDCC we saw an upcoming bald Legends figure, and they are STILL using the same ripped singlet torso. We'll get intricately designed figures of personal favorites, and then Kurt gets this slapped together figure with painted-on shorts (THEY HAVE A MOLD!) on a body resembling The Ultimate Warrior. They are making B level figures of Kurt Angle when they are more than capable of A+ homeruns.
The only one I have on display right now is E59 since you can sort of hide it with the entrance jacket and medals.

I just can’t see why they don’t want to invest in figures that they’ll have to remake because they’re popular, but then give out brand new molds for one offs that nobody wants. I get it, people will still buy. However, after the time we’ve wait for the new Stieners (and they’re pretty good), there is no reason why both have cheap ass painted on biker trunks/legs.
