Good research MK. Talk about obscure ring attire. I know, right. I searched a lot of WCW Rick Rude pics and I didn't even see a promo photo of him in either of these tights. I wonder if WWE has these tights in their archive or something. I guess these days the "deep cuts" aren't the names..... it's about the obscure attires. They look great though, and I'll probably want both. Do I really need two more Rick Rudes? Maybe I roll the dice & just order one... |

Luger is an easy skip for me. I was able to get a spare chase and a spare regular of his Legends figure with the beefier arms on clearance. Quick boot swap and I had a fine 1997 Luger. Already had the chase to cover that era, and I gave the Frankenstein orange with black boots to my kid.

I am so beyond stoked to see that Ultimate Lex. Never expected that one at all. I wonder what, if any, cloth goods will be included with him. I doubt it since he already has the two belts. (Not that there's many cloth goods to sensually give a 97 Luger) Looks like he comes with two belts, the WCW Big Gold Belt with the NWO spray paint on it and without the NWO spray paint on it. It also looks like he comes with a cloth towel for wiping the spray paint off.  Looks like the purple cloth/towel in the Giant's hands in the above photo are between the two belts they showed with Lex Luger:  |

Mattel can win me back by showing a WM39 UE Rhea in the main line.
And Night of Champions 23 Rhea in the main elite line.
Or a Mike Awesome with ECW title.

For Mattel to make those, they would need the person signed as well (Sting, Flair, Davey Boy, Fifi, Woman, Chono, etc.). That may be why Mattel chose these two attires. |

Lex during this era was as plain as it gets, which makes the selection of him as an Uktimate bizarre. I'd say at best, he gets a WCW or a Nitro shirt. Yeah, I thought maybe a simple Nitro shirt or something just to "fill it out". I would gladly take this merch shirt...  |
