Purely an Ultimate Edition collector so very happy with the reveals so far, none I'll be passing on and will convert wcw rude into an Ultimate. With all the re releases of rare elites people payed a lot of money for me has killed collecting Elites. The likes of Ultimate Bischoff, New Gen Ultimate's etc are about the figures that will hold value in the coming years

That Bray is so disappointing though. Looked so much better as a prototype shot.

Rude/Sid Legends set is great, but those two are highlights for me. Scans and gear on those absolutely rule.

Was wondering what the slightly different thing is with Bam Bam, but I just looked at a pic of the legends figure and that one had the red flame detail on the boots, this one doesn't. 

And I agree with you, those two WCW Rude's are amazing.

I may have to get that if it is available her in the UK. I have no interest in the Papa Shango so I would probably flip it and get back a wee bit of the cost

Blown away by that Ultimate Warrior jacket in the Ultimate Edition. Don't see a place for it on my collection though. And if it's the start of a new sub-series if Ultimate Editions than im not looking to start any new series.

Surprisingly not one Undertaker or Chyna has been shown yet. Let's hope tomorrow we can see what else Mattel decides to show us.

Not sure, but I wonder if this is going to be a yearly thing with Amazon. This seems to be this year's Undertaker/Gooker set. Perhaps each year we will get a special UE 2-pack exclusive to Amazon.

Do you think I should play the long game on the Warrior/Papa Shango set? I feel the impulse to purchase it straight away but I have been spending too much on figures.
It could stay in stock or it could vanish quickly like the Razor/Shawn Michaels set.

Nah I don't think it's a one off thing. Razor/Shawn set was a subline to the Wrestlemania elite series.while Undertaker/Gobbledy Gooker was a subline to the Survivor Series elites, in my opinion.

I'm gonna wait & see if Warrior/Shango goes cheaper, the Gooker set is still available now & it's only $40.

If I end up missing out on Warrior/Shango I'll survive. But I already have Outsiders/Steiners pre-ordered so I can't take another $75 hit right now.

Comments on a few things that caught my interest so far:

NWO Dusty head looks great, finally a serious expression that fits that era of his career. And dark glasses too. Only shame is it doesn't come with his red jacket.

New Sid headscan looks fairly good, though I'd rather had an intense serious/staring type expression.

The Syxx chase is pretty cool, I much prefer the Thug gear, and I love the new headscan, looks very WCW era.

Hurricane is OK, but I'd have preferred a 3-Count style Sugar Shane Helms.

Still badly hoping to see some real WCW surprises, i.e. "first time" and "deep dive". Guys like Mortis/Kanyon, Norman Smiley, Ernest Miller, Buff Bagwell, Alex Wright, Konnan, Disco Inferno, Perry Saturn, La Parka, Steve McMichael, Kronik, Referee Nick Patrick, etc..

Highlights for me:

• Great that Bianca Belair is in the Wrestlemania line. Top stars should get Elite figures.
• Shawn Michaels from Wrestlemania 25 in the Defining Moments line.
• Eddie Guerrero re release from Hall of Champions.
I would like to get excited for the Rick Rude WCW figures but I can't match his look up for a specific event yet.

CM Punk in pink Macho Man trunks? Im Not sure if I want that.
Straight Edge Society CM Punk? Im Not sure if I want that either.


Dissapointed:
• Of course there are alot of stuff that nobody wants, Justin Hawk Bradshaw - that will warm on the pegs, it's in that niche slot of Legends figures that's a wasted spot alongside Rookie Ultimate Warrior, Mark Callous, Rookie AJ Styles, The Sultan, New Japan Hogan. Adding to Legends figures that no one ever asked for.

• Royal Rumble Hulk Hogan looks like a disapointment. Was a great chance to release him in the Python Power bandana. He had post match celebration sweaty hair when he lifted the banner, not dry hair, start of the match look. If you are going to reenact a scene at least do it right. It gave me a dissapointed feeling when I saw this figure.

• Hulk Hogan Wrestlemania XXX. A wasted spot. I like collecting Hogans but this is one I didn't want and didn't ask for.

• Hollywood Hogan Wrestlemania X-8 re-release.

They have all these Hogans that people want and are asking for and they give us this again instead. It's a bit enfuriating and I would have got this From The Vault set had this not been included.
To me Hulk Hogan is a main driving force and influence for me to get figures, but they are putting out figures of him that people don't want.


• That Stone Cold Snake Arms shirt figure being in the Basic Main Event line. I thought Mattel were too Politically correct of a company to even release Austin in this figure and when they do, it's released as a Basic figure? I don't know maybe they like leaving money on the table.

I think people need to realise this is a preview night and most likely there will be more reveals hopefully.

I'd like to see more NWO guys personally in the next few days.
